...not a real owl of course... that would be too weird lol Nope, I have been making stuff out of beads and chain again... and here is my little owl necklace:
He is on a long chain, the bottom half of which has lime, chocolate and cream glass pearls and little bronze gems dangling around the brass owl.. isn't he just soooo cute! I am going to be listing him on Folksy later on... I think he deserves a good home - not that this one isn't ... it's just that he has a brother already and waiting to turn into more jewellry... so there isn't room for him here!
Anyways, I was full of goodly intentions to do the old workdesk thing today but... there was too much "can't see it now" stuff on my desk - I have been doing finishing touches to secret assignments... and quite frankly, my room is a pit... in fact, it is more than a pit.. it resembles a trash can. I have been busy this morning "helping" Grim in the garden... painting the fence with this stuff that is like Creosote but environmentally friendly... I can tell you... it is definitely friendly to my nose cos it smells lush!! Right... I had better get a move on... I have hair to wash and nails to be "done"... tonight we are watching a Genesis tribute group...and oh what a shame, we have to come home via the place that sells THE best potato wedges... in the World (yep, I did my Jeremy Clarkson voice again) And... those wedges... are a treat cos we never get to have them normally... so... shall I describe them? I have a few moments while the bath runs... ok, so they are like sections of big spuds... cut into wedgey shapes... then coated in this gorgeously yummy coating (mmm, coating... yep, it would "coat" something) anyhoo's this coating is a bit like that on a KFC piece of chicken.. but it also has bits of cracked black pepper in it too... nomnomonom... right, gotta dash... thanks for looking... TTFN!

Perfectly Core-Dination...
...not me... the gorgeous Core-Dinations cardstock in the Ranger Distress colours... ooo yum! Anyways, today is my DT for The Artistic Stamper and I have made a little book for notes and stuff... and all the deets are HERE.
As well as making the book I also decided to do a patchwork onto a tag. I used the Wild Honey and Barn Door sheets and embossed them with Texture Fades, then cut them up to fit like a patchwork onto my tag.
The UTEE flower was made using the spiky flower from the Tattered Florals die, coloured with Mustard Seed and Barn Door Stains and then overstamped using Monarch Orange Archival ink.. and then dipped into a Melt Pot full of clear UTEE... I love this technique and the look the flowers have... so pretty!
Anyways... Alfie the Retrieve-Cat has been up to his tricks again. A couple of months ago he lost his collar again, so we got him a new one. Well, the other day he came in with a blue collar in his chops... So, I went to put it back on him and couldn't because he already had one on! Oh yesh, he has found the lost one out there somewhere and brought it home! He is a clever boy isn't he! Right, better get a wiggle on, 101 things to do today already! Have a good day! TTFN

Sentimental Studio 490...
...ooooeeee, cor blimey and thrice... I am a lucky gal indeedily... because... the other day I received my latest DT pack from Wendy @ The Stamp Attic and in it was... the brand new set of Studio 490 stamps called Sentimental Art... and oh my word, not only are the sentiments rather fab, there is also a most splendid lace pattern background stamp... which has already seen a very lot of use! On this piece I have stamped it in Monarch Orange Archival Ink... over Rusty Hinge and Wild Honey Stains... lush, lush, lush!
Yesterday afternoon, after playing with beads and stuff, I decided it was high time to get a little bit inky... so I hastened to the Room of Stash for a play. I grabbed a load of Art Parts and some Distress Stains to go with my new 490 stamps and got stuck in... to the point that I forgot to put the dinner on... ooopsie-daisies ;O) Anyways... because I had to stop for the making and eating of dinner... which was delish because we had a mini roast, having Cumberland sausages instead of a joint of meat but adding in lots of roasty spuds, Yorkie puds and grrrravy... nomnomnomnom...I didn't get chance to play again last night so...
I was up at stuuupid o'clock (4am) today because Grim is on earlies... anyways I have made good use of the quiet-time and have got inky again this morning, finishing off my Art Part piece.. and because I am loving those new stamps so much, I made a card too... which is going to be blogged over on The Stamp Attic blog later today :O)) **edit ... tis on there now :O)) HERE**
I am entering this hanging into the Everything Wendy Vecchi Yahoo Group challenge which, this week, is to feature a bottle. The bottle I have used is another 490 image, stamped in black onto an Art Part bottle and then embellished with a bit of Idea-ology. I coloured the bottle green because I love green bottles! I think it harks back to my childhood when I remember my Grandad having a drink of Websters Pale Ale - and that came in a green bottle (and I used to try and catch a sneaky slurp when he wasn't looking lol) *actually, that makes me sound like a naughty child, which of course, I wasn't... well, I wasn't naughty so much as very clumsy and always getting into scrapes lol* Anyways... that's enough waffling from me... time to get inky again... oh and it is Bank Holiday today too... hope you all having a grand time! Sunday Stamper - Week 169 - Chirpy, Chirpy, Cheep, Cheep...
Goodly Morning Stampers and a very happy Bank Holiday Sunday to you all. Thank you for all the gorgeous entries to last weeks challenge. I have been asked a couple of times what to do if you don't have a blog but want to play along... well, that is simples... just email me a piccie of your piece and let me know how you made it. So.. this week the theme has been set by a VERY special guest setter who just so happens to be celebrating his birthday today! He is 8 today and he is having a tin of tuna for his din-dins. (any ideas who the birthday boy is?) The theme is BIRDS and it was set by none other than my gorgeous little furbaby AlfieCat. (isn't he clever!) Anyways, to join in is simple, make a little something, it can be anything you fancy, add in the theme and some rubber stamping and then pop back here to leave me a comment with a linky to the place you are showing your entry. The challenge will remain open until 21:00 Saturday 3rd September 2o11.
So... my entry is a T'Pouch... I am still highly addicted to making T'Pouches. If you are scratching your head and wondering what on earth I am waffling about... basically a T'Pouch is the name for a tag that has a pouch to live in. The pouch itself can be made from anything and I have the made up measurements if you would like to make one for yourself... just drop me an email!
I used lots of Black Soot and Picket Fence Distress Stains because my Alfie is black and white... and I also used some of those divine and now no longer made Avene collection by Crate Paper to make the pouch. Lots of stamping from the collection of the Duke of Distress himself... I think my most used stamp is the script background... oh and the flying birds, LOVE the flying birds! The embellies are mostly Idea-ology.
For the tag I made a Tissue Tape rosette... I made three layers so it would be a bit "blousy" and then popped an Idea-ology Accoutrement into the middle. The big show-offy flower on the pouch is one of the Faux Porcelain flowers I made the other night... I cannot help but just stare at it... and the pic really doesn't do the flower justice... if you want to know how to do the FP technique, I have a Step by Step HERE for you.
Anyways... thankfully I have no tales of woe for you today, no injuries sustained yesterday (which is nothing short of a miracle) We have had a few issues with the internet but that is sorted now... yay! Ooo and sorry for the late posting of today's challenge... I have a very good reason... well, I started to make the T'Pouch and oh dear, it went wrong, Mr Mojo walked out in a huff so I decided to have a little play of Words With Friends on Facebook. I lost. Twice! In fact, I have never ever won a game of Scrabble of WWF. So, the T'Pouch was made in installments while I was slowly getting beaten by Grim... the funny thing is, he was sitting not 10 feet away from me in his Room of Electrickery Stuff lol. Right, I have a very lazy day planned, a catch up of the telly and an afternoon of making beady stuff... bliss! What have you got planned for today? Do tell! Thanks for looking... TTFN

Simon Says...
... "Travel" ... cos that is the theme on the Simon Says Stamp & Show challenge this week... and I am late entering... this tag has been half done on my desk for a yonk and a half so I thought I would have a little play to put right the wrongs of last night... Oh yes, indeedily, I have been in the wars again! So... I was sitting there, chattering away on the phone, like you do... and I noticed it was getting a bit dark. So, I gets up, goes and puts the cooker-hood light on... and... BANG!!!! There was a mahoosive explosion (ok, a loud bang but bear with, I am traumatised) and the lights went out, the phone went off, the microwave started bleeping at me and basically, I was left, standing all on my ownsome in a very dark house!
Now, I am not stupid *well, not really*- I have always prided myself on being able to change a fuse, rewire a plug and generally do a bit of DIY. (I can even change a wheel on a car!!) Anyways... the fuse box (or what I thought was a fuse box - it is actually a circuit breaker box **ok, I am a little bit stooopid**) is high up on a garage wall. And... there was no power to the garage. Aha, methinks, I will grab that handyily left torch on my way in. Yes, I was prepared, a torch that worked.. the only drawback was... the garage is full of, for want of a better word, "stuff". So, having moved several tonnes of "stuff", finally I managed to get to the ladder. Then I realised that the ladder has its very own mind and really doesn't like being pushed about by a woman. Said ladder was also too tall because I had had to open the garage door to move previously mentioned "stuff" and now... I couldn't get the chuffing garage door to shut. Pathetic female that I am, I was trying to push the door up and back to close it.. nope, wouldn't shift at all. So, ignoring the mardy garage door, I finally managed to extract a step ladder from behind more..erm... "stuff". And... then spent several hours (ok minutes but hours sounds better and believe me, it felt more like days) switching between cussing like a docker and crying like a moody toddler. I kept trying to put the breakers back in... oh no, they were having none of it. So, I basically turned into Basil Fawlty and started shouting at them... I told them, in no uncertain terms, that if they did not go back in then they would be out of there... and... they must have listened because... they stayed in! Hurrah and thrice!!
Then I had to tackle the garage door... and it still wouldn't budge, so I resigned myself to the fact that I was going to have to go and ask our next door neighbour for help. But, alas, he wasn't in! So, I went to the next house, knocked on the door... no reply! I could hear their telly so I reckon they had done a quick double shuffle behind the sofa so they wouldn't have to be subjected to a mascara streaked, cobweb covered, wailing, cussing mad woman. Well, I had a sudden flash of inspiration! I would try and shut the garage door from the outside!! And it worked... however, a few seconds just before the door slammed shut I remembered the following things: 1) I was barefoot, outside, in the peeing down rain, 2) if the garage door shut, it meant it was locked 3) if the garage door shut and locked I would, in effect, be locked out of the house because all the other doors were locked and I didn't have a key 4) Grim wasn't going to be home for three hours and 5) how would I ever live all of the above down if anyone found out? lol So... I launched myself at the door and thank the lordy above, the original ladder (the one that I had hefted out of the way in my first hissy fit) stopped the door from closing... phew close call or what!
Anyways... today I have an egg on my head and it is sore (the edges of roof beams are sharp!) My back feels like someone tried to remove all the muscles and then changed their minds and rammed them back in again without a care for where they should go... and the top of my arm keeps twinging... another trapped nerve. Next time... I am just going to light a candle and sit in the dark til a man comes along to help me... ROFL (am kidding!! although, it does sound like a good and honest plan rofl) Right, am offski, tis a VERY special Sunday Stamper tomorrow with an extra special guest setter... oooh, am off to make my entry!! A Bit Of This... And...
... a bit of that. Today's post is a mish mash of stuff that I have been creating... starting off with some rather delish Faux Porcelain flowers. These are just so gorgeous and you really can't get the proper "feel" of them unless you see them in the flesh but I have done my bestest with the photo... in fact, I took several until I got the flash to behave lol The colours are actually like that too... tis Distress Stains ... and before they went into the Melt Pot of UTEE they were quite pale... whatever that UTEE stuff does, cor blimey and thrice, it works a treat! I will be using these flowers on a little something I have planned... I just have to get a wiggle on and make it.
So... next in the mish mash is a snippet of my DT piece for Bubbly Funk... which is in more detail HERE... I had much fun making my own foamy stamps with Kling On and Alterations... and Gesso, I lurve Gesso :O))
And then finally I have a couple of bracelets that I have made this week. Yes, it is true, I have a major league crush on all things beady and pearly. Now, you remember I said about that journalling lark and that I would be doing more? Well, I have done some backgrounds and I am loving the freedom of playing... but I can't very well do that when I am sitting watching EastEnders now can I? I can, however, do some beading things... I have one of those lap trays that have a beany bag underneath, so I have a very comfy "table" to work at... there is a drawback however... AlfieCat... he decided that he wanted to sit on Mummy's lap... and have absolutely no regard for the bead mat, beads, pearls, findings etc that were already on Mummy's lap... ahem, picking up beads is not much fun... neither is trying to dig them out from the back of the sofa either... Anyways, I am going to be listing both of these bracelets on my Folksy shop in a mo :O)
And... speaking of AlfieCat... he has been a little beggar again. He came in the other day with a mouse... one of the d e a d variety. He was flicking it up and running around the laundry room and kitchen like a div. So, I tried to shoo him out but he was having none of it. So, I shut him in the laundry room and let him take himself and his "present" back out side through the newly installed cat-flap. (that is a whole other story) Anyways... several hours later I, being of a forgetful disposition at the moment, went to put my shoes on... and iiieeeeeeeekkkkk... my barefoot touched something very soggy and furry. Oh yesh, AlfieCat had left his little present in my shoe again. Memo to self: from now on, check shoes before inserting foot!
Right... time for me to get shifting... I have a date with some rather delightful Distress Stains that just won't wait! Thanks for looking... TTFN

The Birds & The Bees-wax...
...oh ho, I made myself laugh at that title, never a goodly sign really. Anyways... todays entry of my waffling ramblings is focussing on a tag I have made for my DT over at The Stamp Attic. Now, not a lot of you may know this but... I do love a nice play with a tag... and if it features Aged Mahogany, all the better! And... a little used Distress Ink in my collection is Tea Dye. I am not sure why because it is a splendid colour... however, I do admit to being rather ignorant with colours that aren't "my faves" which is out of order, they should all be treated the same...
So... to put this right, I decided to stop with the Vintage Photo lark and start with other browns... and Tea Dye was the first one I picked up. I used a Wrinkle Free Distress technique to get the colour onto the tag... so, it was Tea Dye and Aged Mahogany smooshed directly onto my craft sheet and then spritzed with water... and then the tag was dipped through it, drying as I went to get the lovely splotchy background. I did the same to some flowers I had cut using the Paper Artsy large Grunge Flower die... and then I got handy with the scissors and snipped some of the edges of the petals away so they were all wavy and grungy looking.
The flower was then assembled to make a rose... but before I stuck the layers together, I dunked each one into a molten vat of Beeswax (ok, I exaggerate... I used the Melt Pot lol) I assembled as I would using the Faux Porcelain technique (available to see HERE) and then just lightly heated the flower, so the wax melted a bit and glued all the layers together. I then went over the edges of the petals with Jet Black Archival... and Plum Archival, just to set the edges off. The flower trim is a Maya Road one.. ohlala I love this, coloured with Aged Mahog and Tea Dye Stains... and I added a frame, cut from mountboard using the Tag Alterations die... covered in UTEE and stamped into and then filled with Rock Candy Crackle once the sentiment had dried in there.
Cor blimey and thrice indeedily, that is a whole lot of waffling there! Anyways... I am reliably informed that The Stamp Attic has the new Studio 490 stamps in stock... oh and the new Tim Holtz ones too... you see, I am enabling... I am good like that lol Right, time for me to get moving again, the old sciatica is bugging me again today and I am not particularly impressed because I have Mojo coming out of my ears and need to harness it before it naffs orf again... Thanks for looking... TTFN!

WOYWW... A Plausible Excuse!
...Nay and thrice cor blimey... today is Wednesday already... which can mean only one thing... it is time for the creative desks of the World of Blog to be aired once again on the marathon bloghop that is... What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday... or WOYWW for short. Thunked up, devised, hosted etc by the one and only Head Desk Inspector-in-Chief, Julia Dunnit, if you click HERE you will be whizzed off on the back of a rather lazy tortoise to see all the deets. Mmm, that has me thinking now (don't worry, I am seated so no extra stress on the old bod)... How do you pronounce tortoise? Being of Northerly descent, I say Tortoyce... whereas, I am reliably informed, it is Tortuss (thank you Grim for your expert Southerly interjection there... seriously folks, I just said to Grim, "what do you call a thing that is like a turtle but smaller?"... he says... "Terapin" *he is a card rofl* So, I then said, "no, the thing that is between a terapin and a turtle"... he says... "Tortuss") So... how do you say it huh? Or, am I just waffling on boringly as usual? (no need to answer that one lol)
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dearily me... my desk!!! This week!!! That is its true and proper state. Basically I have a very goodly excuse... because... I am good at excuses... ok, no, seriously, I am not good at excuses, I am good at embellishing facts! The desk... had the contents of my crafty totey case thing that I cart about the country, full of stashly bits etc... well, the desk had the case emptied onto it on Sunday... and then some of the stuff was put away... and then I needed bed... so I left it for "the morning". Which has now been extended to "tomorrow morning" (meaning Tuesday) and now extended further to "the day after tomorrow morning" Which is, in fact, today! Confused? I am! rofl Now, do you like my new plant? Grim came home the other day with it... he got me a plant because knowing I would be away for the weekend, flowers wouldn't have been seen for long enough... so a plant for the Room of Stash! How lovely is my Grim? And.. how lucky am I huh? Anyways... it is a Bromelia and the yellow sticky out jobbies are flowers... and they are starting to stand up a bit and open out a bit... I am usually quite good with plants... I have one in the living room that is about 10 years old... my lovely F-i-L bought it for me and it is now mahoosive and takes up most of the window sill... it's a Prayer Plant and every night it pops its leaves upwards. I have decided to name the latest addition to the Room of Stash... so he is now known as Bryn the Bromelia... I think it suits him :O)) *not that I think Bromelia's are Welsh, in fact, I am pretty certain they aren't, but I rather like the way to say Bryn...*
I shalln't keep you any longer because I know how exhausting it can be trying to deciper my encripted twaddle so I shall say... have a goodly day... and... TTFN!

PS... if any of you lovely peeps could link me up today please cos I am going to be a bit busy at 6am... errrrm.. sleeping (well, it is like 1am now so I am allowed, I guess?) Anyways, ta very muchly indeed :O))

In Recovery...
...actually, I am out of recovery and now just resting... don't worry, I haven't injured myself (although I am sure that is something of a miracle lol) I had a FAB weekend of classes over at The Stamp Attic... but I have to declare, I am fair pooped! I think it is all the talking that did it... I mean, give me an audience and you know how I love to waffle... and those poor ladies were indeedily subjected to hours and hours of my wafflings.. but, I think, all in all... they enjoyed themselves, I certainly did :O)) So Saturday was a Beeswax day - and many thanks to Sylvia, Jan, Barb, Alison, Thelma and "The Lovely" Caz (I call her that because Caz is UBER organised and without even having to ask, she telepathically knew when cakes and coffee were needed... and that is usually my job but... ahem... I let her take over *plus the fact, if Caz made them then everyone was certain to get the right drink rofl*)
Anyways... there above is a couple of piccies of the ladies, busy bee's (see what I did there huh?) I LOVE that piccie of Barb, she is the one at the back with the cheeky laugh... mind you, I had said something vaguely amusing to prompt giggles for photo's *not that they weren't laughing earlier but it was late in the afternoon and we were being attacked by killer wasps who were after the Melt Pot... mmm, go figure!* Well, whatever, tis a lovely photo.. and because Caz hadn't said "those words" the first time around, I made her say them again... and aw, doesn't she look happy! (shall I tell what "those words" are??? ok, it wasn't "cheese" or "sizzling sausages" no.. it was... "wicked willies" rofl)
That there piccie is of their finished Beeswax Houses... and I have to say... I had a "moment" when I saw then all together. Normally, I take a piccie of each and every one... but Caz (yes, see, I TOLD you, she is a fantastic organiser - bless!) suggested getting them all together. Well, my little eyes welled up a very lot... you see, I spend hours making these samples for workshops... thinking up different elements and putting them altogether so the ladies enjoy themselves and learn something new in the process... and seeing them all finished and all so very pretty... well, Mr. E. M. Otion came to stay. Not for long though because then another killer wasp entered the building and we were all busy telling him to buzz off lol (my sample is the one at the bottom (and yes, it is crap in comparison... ))
So... Sunday dawns a bright and rainy day (nowt new there then!) Wendy and I got to the shop a little before 10am... just a few finishing touches to the prep's we thought. AHA! Nay and thrice, two lovely ladies standing outside the shop as we approach, "morning" we say... "early on a Sunday for us to come all this way" they say. So, me and Wendy looks at each other... nope, we have a full class and neither of these ladies names are down... so... it turns out that their email had gone off into the ether somewhere... and they had travelled all the way from Reading. So, a quick double-shuffle or three and we managed to squeeze them in... well, I just didn't have the heart to send them away after coming all that way. I know, I deserve a medal don't I? ROFL (that was said completely tongue in cheek, just in case that cretin who keeps on leaving me rude comments reads that and then says that I am thinking I am better than I am!)
Anyways, Sunday was another grand day of messing with the Melt Pot... this time we did the UTEE Sampler - like we did last Weds... and a special thank you goes to: "The Lovely" Caz (yes, bless her, she was there again, a glutton for punishment), Jean, Maryan, Heather, Sam (and Fergus) check him out in the piccie with the Melt Pot, Miriam, Jo and Sue... and another MAHOOSIVE thank you to Wendy... who gave up her place on the class and became my helper... you know what? She even stood there fanning me when I had a "personal summer" moment! Here's a few pics of the girls and the samplers they all made...
Finally... don't worry, I have nearly finished lol... last night I was taken out for dinner by Gorgeous Grim... we went to a fab Chinese restaurant and did one of those "all you can eat buffet" things.... oooh lala and thrice! I ate faaar too much (so did Grim so that cancelled out my guilt) but hello and goodbye... the food was deeeevine and there was no way I couldn't have extra duck and pancakes (sorry Kathy about the duck, couldn't help it) I have spent most of today lounging about catching up on several hundred episodes of telly that I have recorded recently... and I have made some more beady things! I will be away to list them on Folksy in a mo... but here's a few piccies of the hangbag charm and the mobile phone charm I made...
Right... I am offski... I have a Room of Stash that is a bombsite and a dire urge to get inky - tis too long since I was last playing with Stains and stuff... thanks for looking.... TTFN!

Sunday Stamper - Week 168 - Our House
Goodly Morning Stampers and a very happy Sunday to you all. Many thanks for the fabby entries last week and it was grand to see so many new participants too! The theme this week is... HOUSES/HOME. To join in with the challenge is simples.. make a little piece of art - it can be anything you fancy, add in some stamping and the theme... pop back here and leave me a comment with a link to the place you are showing your entry and I can hop on over to see you. The challenge will remain open until 21:00 Saturday 27th August 2011.
This week I have to admit that I have been a little busy - and whilst all plans to make my entry were there, waiting to be made, I had to shelve them... basically, I was going to make something on Friday night and then I got involved in a game of Words With Friends on Facebook.. well, all time went out of the window... but the sad thing is that the game was with Grim... who was sitting not 10 metres away from me in his study rofl
So... this week I am showing the beeswax "house" that I taught at yesterday's class. The wooden frame was painted with Eco Paints and then I stamped some Paper Artsy images onto cosmetic tissues. The centre piece is a piece of card that has been painted, stamped and beeswaxed and then a little mini canvas added for the sentiment. Ten Seconds Studios metal makes the floral embellishment on the frame and I added a little beeswaxed paper rose to the top. I am going to try and make something else on Monday for another entry... if I am not too pooped after my weekend of yakking and getting crafty lol
I would just like to say thank you to Caz, Sylvia, Barb, Jan, Thelma and Alison for a fab day yesterday... much hilarity and lots of cake/sweets/chocolate/coffee/tea (and yes, I actually remembered who drank what and made them properly this time lol) And thank you to Colin and Wendy for their excellent hospitality... Colin makes a mean Shepherd's Pie and Wendy made a divine apple cumble with real custard..... nomnomnomnomnom.... Right, I am in needs of some beauty sleeps... got my UTEE class today... I needs to be fresh as a daisy! Thanks for looking.... TTFN

Dangly Bits...
...mwhahahaaaa, did that get your attention? I am snorting ever so slightly here at that title... anyways, the dangly bits I am waffling on about are some more of the beady things that I have been making...
This is going to be the shortest post I have ever done... mainly because it is late, I need to get to bed because I am up early for my classes this weekend... and in time honoured fashion, I still haven't packed... oooopsies... so, I shall say... TTFN! I know, can you believe it, no endlessly waffling paragraphs filled with inane drivel??? Neither can I!!! Have a great weekend! See you tomz for the Sunday Stamper ;O))

Beady...
... fingers! Oh yes... I have been bitten by the beading bug... and yesterday spent a few hours playing with things like headpins and jump rings and chain and beads and pearls... and the bead mat... I can't forget to mention the bead mat... it is soooo fuzzy and feels lovely... to the point that I did have a little sneaky rub of it against my cheek and woke up several hours later... voila! A comfort blanket is born lol
Anyways... once I had regained conciousness, I got cracking and I have to admit, I am lurving the therapeuticness (mmm, real word or another made up one?) of making beady things. I made a total of seven pieces... and here are just a couple... a bag charm and a bracelet... I got all the beads and goodies from The Stamp Attic btw, just saying in case you fancy a little mooch around their brand new beading section ;o))
I have been trying to do this post for about half an hour now... and here is the reason I am having a few probs getting the typing done... yes, look, it is my little attention seeking fella, AlfieCat... he has taken to jumping onto the desk to get my attention... and then settling himself down for a snoozle... I lihslfhgoslkdba;lihgoiayhr hhlkdhlfhdour'wn/ /LIUFOuwe v/F/ JSSOSRUT'PWOU KSJJFK lguaeiru t;ajr /ksnrfouwit 'p;oalikgg .kjg/ ouet #[WI KJFGIRYT9PY4 hr;t9ouq'p40tui Sorry about that... he is trying to make himself heard rofl
Right... time to go and get some stuff done... like the Sunday Stamper.. because I am out this weekend at my classes at The Stamp Attic... and I need to get it made today so I can schedule it... and for a change, this week, I have the theme already in my head! Thanks for looking... TTFN

A Splendid Time Was Had...
... by all! Yesterday was fun indeedily... it was my first class back after the break and we got all hot and bothered playing with the Melt Pot. Calamity struck no sooner than I had got to The Stamp Attic though... one of my Melt Pots died! I mean, what is it with me and electrical goods at the moment huh? Thankfully Wendy came to the rescue and we had the full compliment working again soonly enough.
Big thanks to Val, Jan, Sylvia, Thelma and Annette for a fab day... as usual, we all had a laugh at my expense, mainly because no matter how hard I try, I always do a booboo and say totally the wrong thing... yesterday's pearl of wisdom was... "you just put it in and jiggle it about" *snort* Here's the class sample...
So... we were doing a UTEE Sampler... basically 10 different ways using UTEE, popping them all onto a decorated board and then adding a hanging... these are the finished projects... well, all apart from Annette, I never ever get a pic on Annette's finished piece because she always takes it home to finish it off... (which I admit...I always do that too lol)
Have you seen the state of the desk??? Actually this is after we had to move the sweeties away from Thelma... and before I cracked open the choccy... nomnomnomnommmmm
Right... time to go and get organised... I just so happened to grab myself a few beads and pearls yesterday (OMG, if you could've seen the little pots of beads, pearls and findings you would so have been there grabbing them... I had to really stop myself... ) I have a fancy to try my inky fingers at fashioning something wearable...like... jewellry!!! Don't hold your breath though because I have the fattest sausage fingers in the World, so fiddly things evade me... nay and thrice, I have the hands of a docker!! Oh and... I got a bead mat! Never heard of one of these but oh dear and thrice... they are the softest fuzzy cloth and I admit I did spend several minutes rubbing said cloth onto my cheek and drooling (you think I am kidding? lol) Thanks for looking... TTFN!
