....nope, not Diary...but Calendar :O)) *or am I reallly showing my age referring to this song title...which, BTW is one of my favest songs ever :O))* This is the June entry for Andrea's calendar...it is taking me ages to get the whole thing blogged...I am determined to do it before the end of January though!
Made with a Tilda - she is my fave one I think - coloured with ProMarkers and some Basic Grey Wisteria papers, which were cut into 1 1/2 inch squares...and some Prima's...and some fancy pins that I threaded with some silver charmy things which I couldn't work out what they were for...but I think they match the Tilda with the wings...if you know what I mean!
No more mishaps today...been a quiet day...tried a few new to me techniques and I have the filthiest fingers...hopefully I will be able to finish the thing I am making and post it tomorrow :O)) Thanks for looking...short n sweet today....bit like me LOL

May...Bee...?
...Oh....Woe is me! *pauses for ooohs of sympathy* Yep, it has gone...left me...all alone...sitting in a room full of stash...looking at Blogs, searching through magazines...crying helplessly...*I made that last bit up actually ROFL* So...what is IT? My blinking Mojo is what IT is! It has naffed orf somewhere...like it usually does...probably on holiday again...quaffing Mojito's (geddit?) and getting a nice even suntan. Actually, what I think the real problem is, is this; my Room of Stash resembles a malfunctioning box room that has had a load of paper and rubber dumped into it and then had a rampaging bull go through the mess at 100mph. Basically, my laziness and lack of organization has come back and bitten me on the bum! Full of good intentions this morning, I got my Melt Pot out, along with UTEE and Beeswax, totally inspired by Lin's fab tag, I was all set to get cracking and try to make one... {I even emptied the bin} Several hours later...I have spent the afternoon on the sofa...snuggled under my fleecy blanket with my AlfieCat sitting on my tootsies keeping them warm...and it is now after 7pm and I just know that I have to scale the stairs to the Room and get tidying. *sighs wistfully* I had such a lovely room...all neat, tidy, everything in its place...always tidied up after each project and bin emptied regularly....then Christmas happened...and I have all my Christmas stamps, papers, embellies etc still littering the floor and every available surface...I need to get it sorted...and fast!
See...I even sit waffling on my Blog rather than get tidying...anything for an aversion LOL....Anyways...here is May's page from the Calendar I made for Andrea...I love this one the bestest I think...The colouring is all with ProMarkers and highlighted with a Sakura white pen (cannot find my Ranger one LOL) and the papers are K & Co Mira collection...I loaded up the page with Prima's and paper roses and added some blinging cord and a butterfly charm...and... yep, that Penny Black stamp...again :O))
Thanks for looking...we have thawing snow here...tis still cold...but...excitement of excitement...we had a Woodpecker on our feeder this morning...I have one of those half coconuts with yoghurt and insects in it...and he (I assume it was a he ... cos Woody was wasn't he?) was hammering away at the shell...blimey, he is as quick as a flash though, by the time I had grabbed the camera he had zipped off...he is black and white and red...so I Googled him and he is a ... Greater Spotted variety...see...now I am waffling on about Woodpeckers...anything to get out of tidying the room....*wanders off wondering if Grim will be bribed into doing a tidy up.....second thoughts...a lot of recycling would be happening if he said yes* ROFL I may be some time......

Favourite Colours...
...Remember when I made that calendar for Andrea? Well, one afternoon I was colouring in some of the images ready to put it all together and Andrea phoned me...so I said...."what are your fave colours....?" and she said....Purple and Turquoise...so I coloured this one in with those colours using ProMarkers...
I used some Basic Grey Euphoria papers, teamed with some lace and Prima flowers and paper roses for the embellies, adding in some leafy bits made with a Martha Stewart punch...and then used some jazzy thread to make a wrap around bow thingy *please note; my descriptions are as great as ever*
The sentiment is one of my faves...by Penny Black and I use it on practically every card I make at the moment LOL I added in some little fancy head pins with beads threaded on as a finishing touch.
Thanks for looking...I hope that you are all safe and warm and the snow is not too bad for you...we still have a fab covering...but just clock these icicles which are hanging from the neighbours houses....
typically we haven't got a single one on our house *sulks* ... I will sound like a right mucky pup now...but when I was little me and my friend Elaine used to go picking icicles and suck them like ice pops....goodness knows what was in the ice, I shudder to think but I am still here so I guess a bit of muck doesn't hurt ROFL

Having A Giggle...With Tilda Friends
....Another page from the calendar I made for Andrea for Christmas...this is the entry for March...again, using Tilda's for the focal images...coloured with ProMarkers and highlighted with white pen.
I used my favest papers in the whole widest world ever...Avenue by Crate Paper, I am down to my last few snippets now...and it is not being made anymore *sobs* The flowers are the mini paper roses as usual... but I added some Prima's behind them and also some little crystal cake decorations too. If you click on the pic you should be able to see them more clearly :O))
I haven't been able to get online for the past couple of days...and now it seems the whole country will be grinding to a halt with the big "freeze" as they are calling it...we expect snow in a few hours...and I have this special policy for snowfall. If I ever become Prime Minister I am going to bring it in as a proper rule...first of all, if it snows and sticks on the ground you don't have to go outside unless you are on a mercy mission or feeding birdies. And the main part of the rule is...no household chores need to be done and refuge must be sought in the crafting area of your home! There, hows about that for a cool rule??? ROFL Seriously tho, hoping everyone is keeping warm and safe....take it easy

What a Smacker!
...Now, I have put that title but...does everyone know what I mean???? A "smacker" is a kiss for those of you who don't understand HelsSpeak LOL Here is February from the Calendar that I made using Tilda's for Andrea.
The papers are Basic Grey and the images are coloured using ProMarkers...a collection of Prima flowers and some paper roses to jazz it up a bit too. I used the Edwin and Tilda for February's page because of Valentines day...clever huh?
Blimey, you should see the snow here...it started at 4pm and it is still falling...it is soooo deep now! Hoping you are all keeping safe and warm. And..don't forget the Sunday Stamper and the massive blog candy giveaway...click here to see the post :O)) Have a good day!

Tilda Gets a Play Date
...Over at the Play Date Cafe there is a new theme for their challenge this week...to use blue, gold and cream. It just so happens that I made something over the past few weeks and a couple of the pieces of it incorporate these colours.
Now, this thing...it started off as a little project...a "Secret Santa" made gift for a friend...and over the days, then weeks and then months...it kind of grew, and then grew some more...until it was soooo big it was even bigger than the machine it was supposed to be bound in! What am I waffling on about???? Well, I made Andrea a Calendar for 2010...with a Tilda card layout for each month...thinking it would fit lovely into my Bind It All...ha! I then changed it and thought I could fit it into the BIA in two parts...nope! Still too fat...so I used ribbons for the binding
Anyways..this is the front cover and Miss January :O)) I know the gold is a bit tenuous as it is only the gold ribbons that feature...but ... they are gold LOL And, I hope these pics are accepted as my entry for the Cafe challenge.
Thanks for looking...please don't forget the Sunday Stamper this week and the Candy on offer...details on the post below this one.

Allsorts & Buttons
...The theme on the Allsorts Challenge this week is Buttons...and...as I seem to have hundreds of them, I thought I would pop a few onto my latest Tilda creation.
I used Basic Grey Wassail papers, these are so lush that last year when I bought them I just sat stroking them for a few hours and couldn't cut into them...this year, I am the same with the Eskimo Kisses...so I got to use the Wassail after all :O)) So fickle!!
The Tilda has been coloured using ProMarkers and then I added some Sakura White Pen dots for highlights. I added some buttons to the top of the card and also for the centres of the Prima Poinsettia's. And..the Tilda also has some buttons on her coat...so I guess I really have...buttoned it!! LOL
Thanks for looking...have a good day...I have been struck down with a stomach virus so yesterday was spent feeling very sorry for myself...thankfully, it seems to have passed now though...don't worry though...I haven't been put off my food LOL

Just Tilda....& a Bauble
...Over on the Just Magnolia challenge, Martine has done a FAB sketch for this weeks challenge...and being as I am still totally in lurve with Tilda, I thought I would join in :O))
I have kind of stuck to the design but had to add my tag sentiment a bit lower because I hadn't enough room at the top! I used some more Magnolia Ink papers for the backgrounds...and coloured Tilda with ProMarkers...shading the dress a bit....still cannot seem to get the hang of making it look really smooth though...I need to have more practice I think :O))
The little gold dots are DewDropz and the flowers are Prima's, paper roses and some little green ferny leaves that I had lurking in my stash.
I used my Martha Stewart Doily Punch (yes...I finally got one!) for the lacey border on the centre strip and the main mats are made up using Nesties.
Thanks for looking...remember you have until 23:00 this evening to join in with this weeks Sunday Stamper... and to be in with a chance of winning the art I made for my entry. A brand new challenge will be set tomorrow so please be sure to call in in the morning :o))

Tilda Gets a Play Date
...Over on the Play Date Cafe Challenge there is a new colour theme for this week...now, these aren't normally colours that I would naturally think of putting together...but I just love this combo! And...I am soooo chuffed because my Pixie card entry last week made the top 4 there! :O))
I am still in lurve with Tilda so here is another card I have made using the new Christmas images and some of the lush Magnolia Ink papers.
Tilda is coloured with ProMarkers - I am still on a learning curve with the shading but I am getting there I think LOL I used a Martha Stewart punch to make a border, then backed it with Bazzill so I could add in another of the colours needed. Click on the piccie to see close ups :O))
The flowers are all Prima's along with some orange paper roses...which I ran out of so had to improvise and dye a couple with ink. The mats are made from Nesties and I used some Old Paper DI to blend in the edges of the cardstock.
Thanks for looking...have a good day!

All Wrapped Up...
...I have recently been focussing all my creativity on making altered art and grungey pieces...my hands are perma-stained with Distress Inks and you don't even want to see my "crafting clothes"...they are hideous LOL However, I have a little guilty pleasure that I cannot help myself overcome... I love Tilda! There, I said it! I know that she isn't everybodys cup of tea, some of my friends really do not like her at all...and I guess that she is a little bit like Marmite...but... just like the brown yeasty extract itself, I adore her!
I recently bought the new Magnolia Ink magazine...it is a brand new publication and oh my word! It is chock full of the most amazing cards...and I was inspired to get my ProMarkers out and make some cards myself. Now, I have had ProMarkers for about 6 months now, I love them, they are easy to use...but I could never quite "get" how to shade with them and blend the colours...until I read the mag, which has brilliant tutorials...so last night I went for it! This is a first attempt so I know there is a load of room for improvement...I am making it my aim to make a Tilda card that looks as good as those ones in the magazine and on so many talented peeps' blogs.
I used some of the new Magnolia Ink papers along with the cutest Tilda-in-the-world-ever...and sat her on a Bauble. I used a Martha Stewart border punch to make the band of paper across the centre of the card and then added a thin strip of golden ribbon. Do you notice the ickle rusty bell? How sweet is that?! The little sentiment is also a Magnolia image, which I stamped and then used Old Paper DI to make it look more vintagey...I also stamped a little twiggy branch image on the edges to bring it all together...The poinsettia flowers are by Prima and I added some little paper roses to the centres to make them pop ... a couple of pins with beads on to finish. I wanted to achieve a bit of a vintagey feel to the card, which is why I distressed the edges of the papers and cards...adding Old Paper DI to the edges toned them down...
I am entering this card into a few challenges this week...The Allsorts Challenge this week is to use a Christmas Carol/Song Title...so my little rusty bell on there means I can use the song Jingle Bells :O)) The Passion For ProMarkers challenge this week is Vintage so this card fits nicely for that one too :O))
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Just Magnolia Challenge #17
Hey Peeps,
I am the mood for cardmaking...and pretty cutesy cards at that! What better way to spend an evening that fiddling about with paper and flowers...and using a fab sketch by Martine on the Just Magnolia blog:
For my card, I used Making Memories papers, Edwin and Tilda , turquoise Bazzill and some Prima flowers.
I stuck to the sketch pretty much as it should be and used a tag, which I just cut from cream card and then added a little file tab which I cut using my Slice. The Edwin and Tilda were coloured with Pro Markers and Copics and then the sentiment is also a Magnolia stamp. A few little DewDropz and a ferny punch to finish off this fab sketch....and it is deffo one I will use again...next time I will hide a little phrase or sentiment at the bottom of the tag!
Thanks for looking!

I coloured the image with ProMarkers and then used some Laundry Line papers ... these are divine, glittered and lush colours too.
I made a little mat for Tilda to sit on...using the Bug as usual and a Nestie...mmm, a habit forming here I think!
Thanks for looking.....have a good day

Tilda Card....What? Another One??
Mornin!
Yes, another Tilda card today;
Made ages ago using some K&Co papers from the Mira Collection, ProMarkers to colour in, flowers to embellish and a Penny Black sentiment.
The flowers and the butterfly are actually my Stitchels Dotty Dot's, stamped onto the paper, cut out, layered and then finished off with a DewDrop and some Stickles :O))
Short n sweet today! *just like me LOL
Thanks for looking.....btw, the mat she is standing on is from a Cuttlebug Folder, embossed and then sanded to look a bit shabby.

Tilda ... or Three?
Hey Peeps,
I was just rummaging thru my photo files on the lappy and guess what? I found some pics I took of cards I made aaages ago but forgot to Blog!
This is a card I made for a friend of a friend who wanted a cute, pretty card for her daughter who was 16.
Using three different Tilda images and lots of Basic Grey papers ... these are the Bittersweet collection I think...and some Cuttlebug/Nesties, oh and the letters were cut out using the CriCut ... I came up with this design.
Now, anyone who has followed this Blog for a while will know that I really have a terrible tendancy to overembellish....erm, this card is typical of this habit!! :O)) I added some little fancy headed pins which were threaded with beads....added gemstones, glitter Stickles....you get the idea!!
The flowers are made by stamping my Stitchels designs onto the BG paper, cutting out, layering and adding bits to the middles.
Thanks for looking :O))

Tilda On A Watering Can
Morning!
Oh dear, I seem to have had a severe attack of the "cuties" this week...I am in a cardmaking and colouring in mood you see!
I used some Basic Grey papers from the Lemonade range, coloured Tilda and her Watering Can in with ProMarkers and then used the 'Bug to cut some Nestie shapes.
I added a couple of Prima flowers to the card and popped some jewelled flowers into the centres just to add a bit of sparkle. Am really loving citrus colours at the moment so these papers were just perfect.
Thanks for looking...have a great day... and please don't forget that there is still time to be in with a chance of winning yourself some mega Blog Candy on the Sunday Stamper theme which, if you click HERE, you will be able to have a look at.....:O))

Tilda Goes All Creamy :O)
Hello Again,
I am really keeping up to date with my Blogging which is good 'cos that means that I think that this Sunday coming will see the return of the Sunday Stamper...I think I am over the worst of that nasty bug that has had me laid up for so long and I reckon I will be up to setting a new challenge. I just wanted to mention that I really appreciate all the comments and emails I have received regarding the Sunday Stamper and hope to see all you regulars back again after the enforced absence - and of course, new peeps if you want to join in too :O))
Anyways, on to today's offering;
I made a card - yes another Tilda card - but this time kept it simple and stuck to cream and black as a colour scheme...which wasn't hard cos I have the most divine DCWV cardstock to play with!
I coloured Tilda using ProMarkers - just Greys and Skin Tones and then popped her onto a scalloped oval Nestie, cut out some of the cardstock...ouch, I know, it is sooo nice...almost too nice to cut....and then added a couple of ribbony bits and a ribbon slider and then made a floral embellishment using a combination of paper flowers and a beautiful little beady butterfly that I can't remember where I picked up but it is sooooo lovely :O)) I wish I could say I made the butterfly but my metal and beady skills ain't up to much LOL
Thanks for looking and have a great day - whoops again, forgot to mention that the sentiment is by Penny Black :O))

TIlda And A True Friend
Hey Peeps,
Well, it couldn't last for long could it? What am I wafflin' on about this time you wonder?
The cute cards are back! LOL
Here is a card I made a few weeks ago and found the pics lurking in a file so thought I would Blog it: Aw, she is so cute tho! I used the very last remnants of my Cosmo Cricket Kaitlin papers and cut out some Nestie shapes using Bazzill cardstock for the message and for Tilda to stand on.
The little flowers are Prima's with a paper flower popped into the middle to jazz them up a bit. I added little dots of Liquid Pearls to the scallops of the mats and as ever, a little shabby turned corner, I cannot seem to resist doing that for some reason LOL **whoops, almost forgot....I coloured this Tilda in with Prisma pencils....**
Thanks for looking
