WOYWW... Feeling Krafty...

... has it really been nearly a month since I last showed off my desk??? Well, where did that go huh? Anyways... today is Wednesday, meaning it is the day for showing of workdesks and Rooms of Stash... devised and hosted by the inimitable Mrs Julia Dunnit... click HERE to see all the deets about what I am waffling on about...

So... after my smugness for the best part of this year, I can now report that not only is my desk trashed, so it the Room of Stash. Well, it is all because I hate unpacking... and whilst in America I picked up a few goodies... plus a mahoosive amount of stashly bits from Ranger... and I had to borrow Ellen's case to get said goodies home... and yep, it is still there... rummaged through a bit but... not unpacked. That is a job for (later) Ron or Tom (orrow).... I will do it, eventually lol

That there box is one of the delights I collected at the fab Antique Mall at Chesapeake Bay... it is an ancient Recipe Box... it will soon be an ancient altered Recipe Box... but it is so nice I am not sure what to do with it yet. Check out the ickle bottles... aren't they just perfect!!! They were $1 and had to come home with me... the bigger clear one has some kind of gunky stuff in it... it looks a bit manky but I love it!

And that there box is a Cigar Box... which will be storage for something... am thinking Distress Stains... they would stand perfectly in there. Oh and the old book... was a pressie from Ellen's sister in law... bless her, she also brought me a delightful bunch of orange roses... how kind!

I need to sort out this Room ... it is fast becoming the Doom of Trash again... thing is, I lost my Mojo yesterday, actually I think he naffed off on his holidays and forgot to tell me... and nothing I was doing was making any sense... I faffed with paper, with paint, with wood, with ink... you get the picture... so eventually I gave up and went and watched the telly... something I rarely do of an evening.

Anyways... phew, Mojo came home during the night and woke me up early, getting me at my desk and playing with Kraft Resist Paper... oooh, I love this stuff. It took a bit of getting used to when I first got the pad but I have sussed out that it loves Stains... so I made this canvas... all the deets on how I made it will be over on The Stamp Attic Blog in a few mins... just going to go and waffle on there now lol. Right... best get a wiggle on... thanks for looking... TTFN!

Lots of great treasures. It takes a while to get caught up from traveling, but when the energy level is low, one just gets funky.
Take a walk and get refreshed!!
Your desk is great. Happy WOYWW

Hels, could it be that you've really turned a corner and now need a tidy room to craft in? Perhaps that unpacked suitcase is holding you back!! Love teh recipe box...I would do the inside but not the out...double the whammy and keep some of its original lovlieness.

I loved reading all your holiday adventures, looks like you had a brilliant time. Glad you dodged the tornadoes though, they're definitely not to be messed with. LOVED the Cheetos curtains! Although you've probably turned your insides orange by now!
