Tickets Please...

... oooooh, yes... tickets a-plenty on this tag I just made... I know, I know, I should be tucked up in my bed but... *pauses for dramatic effect* I can't sleep... so instead of sitting downstairs drinking coffee and reading my book, I thought I would quietly venture into the Room of Stash... erm, nothing quiet about me... I mean, I can't even look at someone quietly... and there is a really creaky floorboard right outside my door... which no matter how I try to sidestep it, I always end up stamping on it... *with my foot, not with the rubber variety LOL* and Grim is on earlies, which means he is up at Stoooopid O'Clock... so far, so good; he is still snoring...I mean sleeping soundly (literally!) and that is after creaking floorboards and me dropping my big acrylic block.. normally, it wouldn't get dropped but why is it... when you try to be ultra quiet you end up making more noise than normal??? Or is that just me, the Fairy Elephant in disguise ROFL

Anyways, after all that prattling on you are probably wondering why I haven't tired myself out with all this inane drivel... well, I just have a few more yawns left in me to tell you that I made this tag using... Distress Inks and those loverly new Ticket stamps... you know the ones, I may not have mentioned that they are Tim's 100th Collection and these ones are signed in GOLD??? Nope, not mentioned it before... oh... I did... whoops, there goes me bragging again LOL

As well as those stamps and DI's, I added some Idea-ology, Prima Flowers and some manky old lace that is a really yukky colour but actually looks ok on "olde worlde stylee" stuff. The Tickets were stamped indivually and each one was masked off so it looks like they are layered... I added some of my own fair hand on a couple of them and the one at the bottom has my name stamped on... Anyways... I am getting sleepy now *bet you are too!!!* but before I go off to the Land of Nod ... Using all those Tickets has got me thinking... what is your favourite film? I have several (mmm, you knew I was gonna say that din'tcha??) Firstly there is Educating Rita, total classic... then there is Goodfella's... brill film, seen it about 100 times (seriously, I have!) then there are the musicals... Oliver! is my fave of those... then there's the old Bette Davis films...ah... Now, Voyager being my fave of hers... box of tissues highly recommended for that one...so, do tell, what film could you watch 100 times?? Have a goodly day everyone, thanks for looking...and... TTFN!

Love your tag and especially the ticket with your name - wish I had a stamp like that (except with my name of course)! A movie I've watched so many I couldn't count is Immortal Beloved. It features Gary Oldman, one of your fellow countrymen and one of my favorite actors, playing one of my favorite composers, Ludwig von Beethoven. The music is just fantastic and the story is pretty good too. Hope you were able to get some sleep!! Shhhh.....

Love your tag, that ticket stamp looks much better in the flesh (well, on the tag) so now I need that one too..... Hope you ended up getting some sleep and didn't wake Grim when you "crept" into bed.... Fave film? Have to think about that. Watched 100 times? Probably not, but every time they're on (and on video too) Sleepless in Seattle probably coming close - 4 Weddings not far behind..

When it comes to musicals I prefer Annie :0)
I love the newer films too, titanic, toy story, pirates of the carabean to name a few, I could talk all day about films but you'd probably get bored ROFL ;)

Got up at 5am this morning and I should have stayed up but went back to bed - daft thing to do 'cos it's now 10.30am and I've just got up again! No wonder I can't make anything as gorgeous as your tag, and certainly not as quick. Films eh! never know the names of them just know I've seen them as soon as they get started. There must be some good ones out there but all that gets shown at this house is Vietnam war, cops and robbers, and sometimes ones that are sooo old they crackle and miss bits here and there. Dear DH!!!
Luv Joanne xx

Love the tag, and as a wonderful Cal. friend got ME a gold-signed ticket stamp set too (insert huge smile), I can relate to bragging about that.
What film could I watch 100 times? Several, but for drama, I'll pick Sense and Sensibility. For comedy, gotta go with The Birdcage. That is what I watch if I'm ever feeling down. ALWAYS makes me laugh.

Love the tag of tickets! Hmm.fav film? Difficult question as I LOVE movies in general. Top film of all time for me would have to be Sophie's Choice, tho' it's not one I can watch often. Films I could watch 100 times --- comedy: Bruce Almighty; fantasy: Harry Potter or LOTR, scifi: Star Wars; romantic comedy: Pretty Woman, French Kiss; Notting Hill; dramatic comedy: Steel Magnolias --- I could go on and on... have a good day!

What is it about tickets? Something from childhood perhaps ... but I love them too, especially being able to stamp my own!

'She's got a ticket too ride' Hels, In there, did you notice, is an old Beatles song, (thought you might like that)! Sorry you couldn't sleep, but a lovely piece of art work to show for it. Films... mmmm.. Beaches always makes me cry, Brassed off is a goodies (I cry in that one too), Something's got to give, Love Actually is funny and sad and some thing has got to give is funny! Oh And The Full Monte is a goodie. Sleep well tonight x
