Cinnamon Dreams Bind It All Book

Hi again today!!

Here is the second of todays completed books. Again, using Fancy Pants papers, I cut them to the size of an ATC. I then used a Colorbox Chalk Ink Queue and using Burnt Sienna coloured ink, I edged all the pages and also the torn edges and around the flower embellishments.

For this book, I used similar techniques to the previous one and used my QuicKutz to make the flower embellishments, adding Brads and buttons to the middle of the flowers. I mounted them on 3D foam and attached them to the pages. The words are by BoBunny and have been stuck onto co-ordinating paper or Bazzill cardstock. I have also used a few DooDads words from the Tim Holtz Collection.

I have some wonderful Maya Road chipboard shapes in my stash, so I took some paisley shapes, inked them with the Burnt Sienna chalk pad and then I used UTEE to give a glossy finish and then added adhesive gems, in a golden colour, to them. For the little page that has the corner cut off, I used the flower design from the paper and cut around two flowery shapes, I then stuck these, one either side, to the page and added a golden gem to the middle of the flower.

I used a few copper coloured dragonfly brads to embellish the pages. I used mountboard and fancy paper for the covers and used a Catslife Press stamp for the title box. Once I had bound the pages, I tied some fibres to the binding wire and added a couple of charms that I had coloured copper using a Krylon pen.
