Flowery Friends Bind It All Book

Hi Folks

Yes, it is another book made using my Bind It All :o)) Somehow, I have managed to get thoroughly addicted to making these little books...So today has two new installments for my Blog, this one being the first.

For this book I used Fancy Pants papers and most of the embellishments are made by me, as I have done in previous projects. The book is roughly the size of an ATC and I have made it for a friend, hence the title!

For each page, I used pieces of the fancy papers and used Colorbox Chalk Inks to edge the pages and also any bits that I had torn, just to give them a nice finish.

I also used a few dragonfly brads, buttons, a few sticky gems and my trusty QuicKutz to make some of the embellishments. Most of the flowers I have made have been mounted on 3D foam to give the pages a bit of definition. I also made use of Glossy Accents by Ranger; I just touched up some of the flowers with this so as to make them lovely and shiney to look at. I also find that Glossy Accents also just lift the project too.

For the covers, I used mountboard and covered in the fancy papers and for the words, I have used word stickers by BoBunny and just stuck them onto co-ordinating papers and popped them onto 3D foam.

As a finishing touch, once I had bound the book, I tied some ribbons to the binding wires and added a couple of silver charms to the ribbons and then I popped three Prima Flowers onto the front cover. I used my QuicKutz to die cut the alphabet letters I needed for the title and used a ZigZag glue pen to stick them on.

Thanks for looking,

Hels x
