I am lucky enough to own the latest "must have gadget"...the Bind It All Machine. I made this little book as a first project. I really love using Distress Pads, Dabbers and a range of eclectic stamps, so making this project was so much fun.
The picture of Tim Holtz was taken from a scan of some packaging that his Alcohol Ink case came in. I scanned the picture, altered the colouring slightly and then printed it out on normal copy paper. I wanted the image to be on thin paper so it would not stand out too much from the project backing. Using Cut & Dry foam, I used Pine Needles Distress Ink and smudged this around the edges of the image. I finished it off with a crown charm, cos after all Tim is the King of Altered Art!
My first attempt at binding the book was a bit of a disaster...I had not read the instructions properly and wound up wasting a length of wire but the second attempt was much more productive!
I made this book on September 1st 2007.
Thanks for looking
