Goooodly Morning Stampers and a very happy Sunday
to you all! Thanks for your fab steampunky entries to last weeks challenge. The new theme
this week is... USE ORANGE.
You can interpret the challenge how you like: a smidge of orange ink, an orange tone of papers, a stamped orange... the
choice, it be yours! To
join in with the challenge is simples: make a little something, it can be anything you fancy. Add in the theme AND
some stamping *this is THE important bit guys, please remember your rubberstamps!* and then hop back here, leave me a comment with a link to
the place you are showing your entry and I can come see you. If you
haven't got a blog, you can join in via Facebook (just tag me name) or
by emailing a small res.pic to me or by leaving me a link to your Pinterest or any other photo hosting site. The challenge will remain open until 21:00 Saturday 21st February 2015.
Yesterday I had a grand day teaching my Beeswax Distress Collage canvas at Daisy's Jewels in Coventry.... and decided halfway through the day that I was going to use the sample I was making to demo on during class as my entry for this weeks challenge... yes, oft I am that late in deciding what the Sunday Stamper will be! You could call it "spur of the moment" but really it is inherent laziness on my part *teehee*
Anyways, lots of lovely layers of patterned papers, these ones are from Kaisercraft, inked and stamped and waxed and embellished with one of my Tattered Roses... well, I do love a rose you know :O) I also loves a bit of beeswax, I just adore the vintage softness a slap of wax can add to any papers...
I am dashing off now back to Daisy's - today we are playing with all kinds of Distress and no doubt we will all be covered in ink by the end of the day... the best way to spend a Sunday eh? Whatever you be doing today, I hope you have a good one! Thanks for looking... TTFN

Morning Hels, A stunning canvas, lovely colours, gorgeous flowers and butterflies, and loving that you have managed to add in a touch of 'harlequin' too, love it.

Hi Hels
I like orange, its warm and happy. I like orange and black, the contrast is very striking. The canvas you've created is amazing, the flowers are lovely (I'm getting there with them, keep going back to your tutorial but I think I'm often not patient enough). I really like how you give bodies to your butterflies and must try that myself. I keep hording little random objects so it may be a good way to use them.
Have a fun week, crafty hugs,
T x
