It's Giveaway Time!!!

...Cor! Blinking! Blimey! And! Thrice!  Indeedily!  THANKYOU all so very very muchly  for the amazing response to yesterdays Melt Art shows!  Thank you for taking the time to email into the shows (averaging about 60 per show), for your Facebook messages and tags, for your Tweets (I am rubbish at Twitter so apologies if I didn't respond to you) and for your emails to me.  WOW!  As a thank you for your support and you all loving the Melt Pot, here's a little giveaway.  To be in with a chance of winning, simply leave me a comment on this post.  The winner will be chosen at random and announced on Monday May 13th 2013.

And... here it is.  One of the Media Mixage Sheild Bezels... I think these are my fave.. but then again, I loves the Fleur de Lis' and the Triangles... and the Circles... erm.. ok, they are all my faves!   Inside it is clear UTEE that has ambered and I have popped some Mica Flakes into the pot, stirred it up and poured it out (tis really that easy!)   As I said, if you would like to be in with a chance of winning this pendant, just leaves me a comment... simples :O))

I have got another *to-do* list to tackle today.  I had toyed with the idea of pretending that said *to-do* list had actually blown away on a gust of wind... but no... it is there... and needs attention!  Starting with something else that has indeedily blown away on a gust of wind!  Oh yesh, it must have been blowing a hooley here yesterday because when I got home I noticed that one of my little butterfly lights in the garden was there, minus butterfly!  Goodness knows where it has gone.  They are long stalks and a-top sits a clear butterfly that has an LED jobby in it to make it change colour.  Well, the changy colour thing is still attached to the stalk... the butterfly, however, has disappeared.  I have been out this morning, crawling about looking for it... and nope, nowhere to be seen!  I did think about accusing AlfieCat of stealing it but he wouldn't have reached the top of the stalk (he is reknowned for nicking stuff btw, I am not being mean to him... like the Peridot watch which disappeared, or the hair flower that went missing last week!)  Anyways... the *to-do* list ain't going to do itself so I shall bid you a goodly day and say.... thanks for looking... TTFN!

Great shows Mel! (Where did they find that new presenter???) You will have to make yourself a new butterfly, move that task straight to the top of the to do list!

Thanks for the chance to win one of the mixage creations.

Are you sure Alfie cat isn't crossed with a magpie? I recognise those tendancies in others, as I too am drawn to all things pretty - which leads me nicely to THAT pendant! It isn't just pretty though - it's absolutetely gor-juss, and whoever wins it will be so lucky.
I can't wait to start playing with my melt pot when it arrives, so I'd better go now and finish all my sewing so I have a clear work table.
cheers m'dear.

Saw and recorded all the shows yesterday...you explain everything so well and well done for no burns at all lol!!! Can you use the silicone moulds that you get for baking with the utee? Also see that you can bake polymer clay with the melt pot(saw video where Suze Weinberg mentioned it) but can you do this directly into melt pot as I think project pan wouldn't be hot enough? Cheers K x

BEAUUTIFUL!! I love the pendant!!! Hope you've found the lost butterfly...and Alfiecat is off the hook for stealing it.

Debbie Ravenhill said...

Hi Mel sorry Hels, I watched all the shows, and the repeats during the nite I'm not a great sleeper, And loved them all. I emailed in every show, in anticipation, to win one of your unique makes, was not to be, however just to watch you was enough for me. You gave me so many hints and tips, and emptied my bank account!! But it is worth it. I just love my melt pot thanks to you Mel sorry Hels. The butterfly episode, may be the wind blew off the butterfly to the ground a bird thought it was breakfast, realized it was not then spat it out. Then, Alfie cat found the said spat out butterfly and ran off with it to his hidie hole. You need to set up a camera on his collar to see where his said hidie hole is, mystery solved!!!!! Or you could just make yourself a new one from the melt pot!! Get going with your list, crafty hugs Debbie R xx
