...aha yesh! No more of this "panicking like a loon because it is less than a week to Christmas and I haven't made a card yet" nonsense for me this year... oh no... because... indeedily I have a halo to polish... I have made my first Christmas card!!! I have...really... this isn't a wind-up!!! Here it is...
But... before I go off on a wafflefest about my brightly shining halo... I have business to attend to... and that be the business of telling you who won the giveaway tag from last Monday's post. So... there were 53 lovely and very muchly appreciated comments left on that post... so, I fed this into Mr Random.org who told me that he had chosen comment #17.... which tallies with.... Aj* I apologise that I still haven't fathomed how to do the "get a piccie of the screen" thingy... it is something I am working on... Anyways... if Aj* could email me her addy, the tag will be in the post shortly.
So.. on with the wafflefest... *did I just hear groaning???* The card was made using Kraft cardstock... and the brand spanking new Christmas Kraft Resist paper that landed in the Room of Stash earlier this week... ohhh and it is luuuush... really luuuuuuuush!!! Added to the Kraft Resist, there's also some Holly Leaves... stamped in Peeled Paint DI, embossed with Peeled Paint Distress Powders and popped behind some Mini Rosettes. The Holly Leaves are from the Duke of Distress' new Season's Silhouettes stamps - which are also... luuuuuuuush!!! Oh and check out the ickle Muse Token... another newbie... am loving the Christmas sentiments on these... I can see these becoming a new fave. Oh and I forgot to say, the Resist Paper is coloured with Peeled Paint and Fired Brick Stains. All of these new Christmas goodies have just hit the shelves of The Artistic Stamper... just saying ;o))
Anyways... the Room of Stash is very festive at the moment because I have also made my first Christmas tag of the year... which is this months giveaway over on The Artistic Stamper Creative Team blog... to be in with a chance of winning it... all you need to do is leave a comment over there... oh and if you leave a comment on this post here too... you will be entered twice :O)) Here's a sneaky peek at the tag....
Right... that be enough waffling and whittering... I just know that this halo polishing won't last.... although I am going to really try hard and make lots more Christmas cards... you will no doubt hear me whinging at the beginning of December that I am out of time etc and have had to resort to buying my cards (ahem... again!) this year... That's all from me for now... please do hop on over to the Creative Team blog and have a little looksie... I have been very...enabling and added links to the Artistic Stamper website so you can go and grab those goodies while they are still in stock... see, am good like that.... Thanks for looking.... Cor blimey, luv-a-duck, that's a stunner Hels. I'm doing my best to ignore the fact that the C word is swiftly heading our way, not sure I'll get away with it for much longer. :)
Loved your tag on the AS blog too, left a comment.
