...cor blimey, I am a slack-Alice today! I was going to start this post about 12 hours ago and finally I have got around to it! Remember a few weeks ago we went to a Wedding? Well, I made a Wedding Card and a "Gift Card" to go with it.
As I have said before, I am not really a cardmaker but I do like to make cards like this because they appeal to that "pretty side" of me (not actually of me because then that makes me sound incredibly vain... you know what I mean lol)
So... I love those vintagey papers from K & Co that I have had for 286 years and have hardly ever (ahem) used. And... hurrah and thrice, they go perfectly with Aged Mahogany, which is my fave Distress colour. The cards are pretty simples... just paper and card and some punched flowers and a few paper roses (ooohooooh, paaaaper roooooses... la la *singing lol*) oh and some little pearly jobbies on a bit of fishing line - I am sure that they have a proper name but it does escape me!
Anyways... finally I have got around to making my post - I have been watching the news since 4pm yesterday - I wasn't sleeping too well last night so I also watched a bit more during the night... I am tempted to go off and get my soapbox and bang on about this pointless and totally unjustified violence that our country is seeing at the moment... but I won't... because I am sure we are all 100% in agreement about how we feel about it all.
Right... time for me to get myself to my desk... I have a little giveaway to make for tomorrow... and I have only just remembered... oooopsie-daisies! Take care and stay safe my friends... TTFN
