An Olde Book... Part Deux...

...d'ya remember last week I showed you part of an old book I had altered over that superfast speedy weekend with Ellen??? Last week I only got to show you some of my finished pages so I thought that I would show you the rest now. The colour scheme is the same throughout the book... I have a habit of normally doing a different colour for each page so I am chuffed I stuck with this black, cream and red colour way... which, BTW, was totally inspired by Ellen's original olde book that she journalled her first visit to the UK in... tis HERE if you fancy a nosey.

All of the stamping is Studio 490 - I have used Jenni Bowlin papers (I need more of these because they are now my new faves... and sadly I can't find them anywhere over here!!!) I also used some of those new Art Parts... and... my newest favest product to play with ... Clearly For Art BlackOut... oooh, you so need to try this... tis... DIVINE!!

Now I have never really been a "dressy/sewing/frilly" kinda gal... hey, I was the six year old who wanted brick wallpaper on my bedroom walls when most girls wanted Cindy or My Little Pony ROFL However, I was rather pleased with myself when I made a teensy pleated skirt for my little dressform... turned out better than I could have hoped!!!

All of the Studio 490 range, the Art Parts, Clearly For Art etc is readily available from The Stamp Attic... I am off there in a mo to order some more Art Parts and CFA BlackOut, I have another book in my head that needs attention!

Oh and here is a reminder what the front cover looks like... tis old, like very old... the date on the inside is 1922!!! I just love that there is so much age in the covers and yet the inside is new but distressed to make it old... cool huh?!

Right, enough of my waffling... am still suffering with the old war wound and it is driving me nuts so I am off to lay down on a hot water bottle... thanks for looking... TTFN!

Very cool book project Hels. Your pages look divine. I still haven't tried the clearly for art stuff yet and haven't seen it in black anywhere yet.
