... ahhh, tis Wednesday already... and February already too!! Where did January go??? Actually, I am rather pleased that January is over and done with, never have liked that month too much LOL So, Wednesdays are all about WOYWW - the phenomenon that is What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday, hosted and headed up by Inspector in Chief of the...Inspector of Desks... Julia... click her name to see what I am waffling on about :O))
My desk today is rather busy... that is because I have had to quickly snaffle a project out of the way cos it is top secret and instead, bung my next project there to get you off the scent of what I am up to LOL Ummmm, maybe I shouldn't have said that... cos now you know I am up to somefink... doh!! Anyways... the book on my desk is the last of the Circle Journals I have been involved with for the past few months... I will be glad to see the back of these cos the whole theme was to think up nice words about your mates, and, let's face it, I have struggled...mwhahhaahhaaaa... ooooh, I am joking ROFL
And... the "in a Position" part of the title... is in honour of the latest challenge on the Stampotique Designers Challenge... which is a sketch by Card Positioning Systems... that there is my interpretation... it is sooo worth a trip on over to the challenge blog though to see THE most amazing art by the Stampotique Design Team... oh and you will get to see the sketch too... so you can join in!!!
There is a frisson of excitement in the air at Chez Sheridan today because the nice man who is doing the drive will be arriving to take all the hessian stuff off it - it has been protecting it against the frost while the concrete sets- and then he is cleaning it... what do you think my chances will be if I ask him to clean Ferdy too?? Mmm, thought you might say that LOL Anyways... yes, he is cleaning off the stuff... and... removing the plank, so I don't have to walk it to get outside... and... I have to admit, I haven't stepped foot on it.. basically, I have a bit of a balance issue... coupled with the clumsiness issue and the clodhopping issue, me and planks suspended 900 feet off the ground... not a good idea!!! Right.. bedtime... busy day ahead of me making that.... ooops, see, nearly did it again ....Have a FAB day!!! TTFN

I hate to admit this, but when I first saw that "project" on your desk, I thought it was a moldy pie. OK, it's late in my world, so you have to forgive. I hear you got published and lots of people are excited about it. Congrats.
Oh I forgot. Ferdy's new home will be a happy place soon. I wouldn't walk the plank(s) either.
Ooh! looks like your corner shelf is on fire! Think it's the light from your lamp. I love your Stampotique piece. The background is super. Hope the drive gets cleaned so you can go out at last.
xx
You always make me laugh! I have this vision of you suspended in your house, stuck, 900 feet up in the air unable to go out.... hope your drive man sorts you out today!
Love the work today, looks amazing. I must try this challenge before it's too late!
See you Sunday, hun.
You up to something?....doesn't sound like you ;-) Looking forward to the show and tell.

I would be surprised if you weren't always tied up doing secret yet-to-be-published stuff...your art should be seen everywhere.
Same here about January, although it's Mr D's birthday month so we have to make an effort (hence a long weekend in Tenerife!!). As for the plank....no way..not me...all your issues plus a weight issue and a pride issue and oh you get it!!
I love the background combined with the images you have used, Hels!

Whatya been up too then that we can't see!? Your place looks far too tidy today, I'm seriously concerned, you're not ailing I hope. Love your stash of inks, Looks like the whole set? Have a fab day 007, M
I love the card..gorgeous. 89
I like the idea of the quiet place in that card. Very tidy at yours today - if this is the result of top secret activities, then I had better find some secrets of my own immediately!

Hi, nice tidy desk. I love the surrounding walls though, very inspiring area to work in. Am intrigued to see next project now, so will be keeping my eyes open for that. Take care, Rach xx
Hi Hun
Does this mean your word verification has now gone! Yipee! I can leave you more messages. I usually do these in bed on my old lappy and it just will not let me leave a comment when I then have to add a word verification. Very boring! Great card by the way!
Ooh, love the suspense of The Project Which May Not Be Seen! Your Stampotique card is stunning. I lurv the inky background and the 'shrooms and the little pixie. Sweet!
Cheers,
Susan
I've seen so many talented blogs so far and yours is another. Stunning work and gorgeous craft space.

I really like your little girl sitting on a toadstool. I have always loved that stamp...need to get it.
I have done my Sunday Stampers entry it is on my blog and called 'Honesty', hope you can find it.
Have a lovely day
Sue xx
Love the shot of your desk - it's those two wee shelves, they are jam packed with goodies that need closer inspection. Love the card and I've noted the sentiment as I so identify with the need for a quiet place. Elizabeth x #96
Love the image, and the background colours. Super tidy desk, I think mine was like that once. Probably when it was still in the box, lol.
That mix of colours on that card are beautiful
Gosh Hels, that looks very tidy. Like the clock, btw, I have one of those too!
Too tidy by far Hels!! LOL!!
Sam # 131
What on earth is that in the middle of your desk??? Is it alive? Do what I do... take the car into the dealers on a minor pretense, and they wash it for you too! Love the saying on your card, very true.
Hugs

Looking forward to seeing the finished drive! And planks 900 feet off the ground indeed *snort* I'd wobble too if they were that high..... hehehehe

Fab card and I love the look of your workspace. Also loved the article in this month's CS. Wish my melt pot had a UK plug - right now it's gathering dust while it COULD be put to good, crafty use!
Hope you had a great WOYWW!
Mary Anne
(a day late but determined!)
Love, love, love the card and the sentiment is so true. You must be over the moon to be rid of your plank. My nickname is "grace" so I understand :D. TFS!

Trying to still catch up with all the desks...yours is looking pretty clean and tidy!! Love the colors on the card Star 125
Aw - just imagining you walking the plank - I would have landed in the concrete!!
I guess you do not exaggerate at all - 900 feet off the ground, I am sure it must have been higher than that. Hope you get the last bit sorted soon. Your workspace looks so warm and cosy.
