She's Leaving On A Jet Plane...

...don't know when she'll be back again... but I do know that even though I am really sad that Ellen is leaving in the morning, she will deffo be back... and I have the invite to stay with her too... better start saving then LOL Honestly, this has been a fantastic week and I feel like we have known each other for yonks. Ellen will be taking a few things away from England with her... a bag of stash, a packet of Caramel Disgestives (blame me, I am a addict LOL) and most importantly... some of my little, erm... how shall I put it... colloquialisms! Ellen mentioned on her blog one of the things I said that made her laugh... another thing that she is saying now is... chuffing Norah... I know, I say it allll the time... everything is "chuffing" for me... and now it will be for her too ROFL

So... inkyness abounded in the Room of Stash yesterday and I needed to do my Bubbly Funk piece for today, so Ellen said she would do a Challenge Hels for me... and promptly gave me three Distress Inks and four Tim stamps and said I had to use the Dabber Resist technique. The colours? Not what I could have even begun to put together... I am a colour-phobe... Rusty Hinge, Chipped Sapphire and Crushed Olive! I know! Together? YEP! And... they worked! Which just goes to show how fab DI's are cos they all blend together perfectly.

The deets etc for how I made the tag are over on the Bubbly Scrumptious blog HERE. I suppose I had better go now, up early for the train (hope it isn't delayed!) to get to Heathrow and then it will be time for us to say TTFN... then it will be time for Grim to drag me snivelling and snotting all over the place back home... I am such an ugly cryer LMSO When we met up with Jennie the other day I said that she could take a piccie of me and Ellen - this is the first one - strangely out of focus and weirdly nice in a soft focus way (turns out, Jennie had grease on the lens LMAO)

And this is the proper one - excuse the mad deranged look in my eyes... I had been frozen to the bone and was in the middle of thawing out LOL

Right... I shall say TTFN... oh and I just wanted to say.... THANK YOU to all the lovely peeps who have left me comments during the build up and whilst Ellen has been here... it has been so lovely to share this experience with you all and of course, it goes without saying, a HUGE thank you to Ellen for coming all that way to see me! TTFN (again!)

I'd just said to my DH, "I can't remember when Ellen leaves" 'cause your weather is making the news here. You all be safe traveling! This has been THE fastest visit - even for us on the "outside looking in".
Oh .. and I like your tag! It all works so well!

Bless - at least you had a fun time, and as I often say to my nieces and nephews, if she doesn't leave, how can she come back? Irish but it works.... Can't believe you're in Wellingborough - I used to live in Thrapston....
