What... No Wrinkles???

...yep, saying it again... not my face, although I have to admit that the Avon ANew stuff I have invested in has smoothed out some of the lines... it has given me a few zits too though - well, it is the skin of an adolescent now LOL What am I wittering on about??? Well, the Compendium of Curiosities challenge, devised, thunk up and hosted by the uber talented and utterly divine Linda Ledbetter is having a 2 week theme - something to do with a whole cruise ship full of ink-junkies and Tim SomeoneOrOther (like I am sooo Peeled Paint LOL) Anyways... Wrinkle Free Distress... go and have a look at all the other entries too... ooooh, they are seriously LUSH... if you click HERE you can see all about it!

I made a card for this entry - the tag has already been entered and I was in and inky mood earlier.. so, using a concoction of DI's... mainly Peeled Paint, Spiced Marm, Aged Mahog, Chipped Sapphire and Wild Honey... smooshed card thru inkyness... dried, re-smooshed etc. The stamps... all from the Duke of Distress... all stamped with DI's ... I spent the evening re-inking all of them that I have re-inkers for... and the one that is bone dry and my fave... Spiced Marm... no re-inker... need to rectify that like NOW!

I did a bit of splodging with Rock Candy Distress Stickles and added some string around the card... that can be my other Sunday Stamper entry for this week... still time to enter peeps... drying it all with my heatgun and adding new Idea-ology to the string. Finally, I got all carried away and fancied up the envelope too... you know, I used to do that with all the cards I made... I got lazy and stopped, so I got organised and started again LOL

So... you know I said that I am organised and making ready for Xmas??? Well... erm... you know we moved house? And all my stash got packed? Well, it seems I have .. erm.. mislaid my box full of Christmas stash... looks like I will spend today searching for it!!! Wish me luck... I may be some while LOL Thanks for looking.. have a goodly day... TTFN

This is the best card I've seen all day - ok I've just got up but there is a box full next to me but none could ever compare with this. Amazing effect and wonderful colour combo.

Another beautiful creation, Hels...and the colors are stunning together! Good luck finding your Christmas stash. I moved to a new home 6 years ago and still haven't found some of the stuff I know I packed. Maybe they'll be found when I pack to move again!

Misplaced all your holiday stuff? Hmm... sounds like a great excuse to do some shopping!!! ;-)

This is another hunk of gorgeousness from you, Hels! Those colors are like, "POW!" right off the page, and the collage-y look is way cool! Awesome stamping (but, of course!), and the envelope is darn near as stunning as the card itself!

I've often lamented that it's completely unfair that there's no happy time, no golden age, between the zits and the wrinkles. What's up with THAT??
