Sitting On The Fence...

...not me, I usually have an opinion one way or another LOL No, little PussPuss has come to live with me... and look how CUTE he is!!! He is from the latest batch of Stampotique rubberbabies... oh they are all too lovely to chose from but he was top of my list. As was...erm.. the tree and the..erm, Hallowe'en Cube.. which BTW, are all available from The Stamp Attic.

Anyways... I saw Sue Roddis make a gorgeous piece the other week and she had the tree with a bat hanging from it.. so I had to copy - I hung my bat and also one of the little Gremlins from the Hallowe'en Cube from the tree... that tree... GORGEOUS!!! Perfect for any season of card too!

This card also has a Picket Fence... yep, erm... another Alteration fell into my basket the other day and this is cut from Mountboard... **THANK YOU THELMA for the mountboard :O))** I coloured it with Vintage Photo DI and then slapped some Rock Candy Crackle over the top.

Two Sticks found his way onto the card... I drew a few petals for "hair" behind them, coloured them with DI's and then cut them out... fiddly but worth it :O)) The sentiment is one I have had for yonks... it is a Hampton Art stamp... I got it cos... every single wood mounted stamp I had was mounted wonky... and... cos I like a bit of wonkyness... who needs normal huh? Anyways... this is my offering for today... I had a totally couch potato day yesterday, staying in my slouchies all day and watching old films and eating a homemade curry that practically blew my head off... well, both me and Grim have the ManFlu now, so I figured a hot curry would either kill or cure... seems to have worked! Oooh and how exciting... Strictly is back... I loooove Strictly and am so rooting for Ann Widdecombe this year.. bless! ROFL Anyways... better get back to getting inky... thanks for looking... TTFN

This piece is just too tempting. I lurve Stampotique and now want the pusscat, the bat, stick men and that tree. I'm waiting for my fence die from Jennie so at least I would get that bit. Hope you both get better soon before you blow each other's head off with curry fumes!!!!! LOL.
Luv Joanne xx

Ohhhh...this is just darling! Love the bat and gremlin and the addition of the picket fence added so much. The Hampton Art stamp is the perfect caption. I wish it were still available as I can't stamp a straight anything either! Glad you're feeling better.

Fabulous! Love the cat and love the way you use Two Sticks for flowers - super duper ;-)
I lurve Strictly as well and avidly watch Strictly it Takes Two (or whatever it's called), not sur who I'm rooting for yet but some great dancers and even those who aren't so good this series aren't bad at all - no real stinkers

This is so lovely! I am so NOT rooting for Ann, sorry, but I just can't! I mean, she is very brave and taking it in good part, but - it is meant to be a dance competition.... (sorry to sound like Craig R-H!) however, I am glad to see it back - though it means weeks of rushing the dinner prep so I can watch SCD It Takes Two, too! I can't do late eating so need to get the meal on as soon as I get home.

LOL Hels, love this, its brilliant. Imagine all that stuff just falling into your basket??? Love the journalling, until now I just figured you meant stuff to be a bit 'not quite true or square'.... so the secret is out!!

Hi Hun
Great fun post and creation. Sorry about the man flu! Sounds a bit Grim to me. Sorry for the pun, hun. Love it. By the way what is the border bit at the top. Your own drawing or a stamp?
