So De-Stressing...

... but not actually distressed... cos... yesterday *whooohoooo* was my first class at The Stamp Attic and I just thought I would pop a few piccies of the day (and try to get in before Wendy posts a rather...erm... unusual photo of me - but more of that later!) So, I would like to say a huge thank you to Val, Brenda, Sue, Sue and Annette (who isn't in the pic 'cos she managed to escape ROFL) I had the most tremendously fun time and you all made my first workshop a delight! *see their inky fingers... always a sign of a good time!*

You might have noticed the choccies and HobNobs on the table... in front of me... I hasten to add that I only had two of the choccies and one biscuit... I was far too busy talking the hind leg off a donkey *nowt new there then* So much that... I have a reallllly sore throat this morning!

*just noticed... my feet in the above pic .. whoops!*
Here are the finished books - by the time I remember to take pics of them, Sue and Annette had managed to escape but I got these ones... the top is by Val, the middle is by Brenda and the bottom is by Sue... aren't they fab!!! Oh and the pic below is my sampler...

And, how COOL is this??? Sue Allan made me this divine little beach hut... it is so gorgeous and made out of recycled products... I won't tell all because Sue does have the deets on her blog... so if you would like to see how she made this gorgeous little hut... and what it is made out of... click here and I will wave my wand of magic and transport you to her blog :O)) Look at all the little details on it, the little window with lace curtain, a rope knot, fishing net... this pic really doesn't do it justice though... seeing it in the real it is divine :O)) Anyways, thank you to Sue, I will treasure this little work of art x

So... the photo that Wendy was trying to get of me... a little known *ok, I may have mentioned this several thousand times* fact... I really really really hate having my photo taken... so in comes Wendy, camera in hand and off nips Hels to hide... mmm, it worked the first time but you will never guess what Wendy did next!!! She pinned me up against the wall, shoved the camera up my nose and took a picture!! It is totally hilarious and I so need a copy of it... however, I was being stalked by this camera all day and I know there are at least two more very bad pics of me and I just know they are going to come out... I may have to bribe Wendy to not publish one of them... it is me in the act of eating the most ginormous piece of cake... but in my defence... I was literally being force fed it... *see Hels' nose grow another inch longer*

Anyways... can you tell I am still buzzing??? I cannot wait for the next playdate... *pictured above* this time it is taking the basics a step further *but you don't have to know how to use the basics, cos that is included in the class :O))* and using lots of inks and stamps... and... On The Edge dies along with how to make a Grungepaper rose... or three :O)) Plus using the Tattered Florals die too... oooh, I love that die the mostest LOL If you are free and fancy getting very inky and messy with me... pop on over to HERE which is where you can book a place... oh and I promise.. there will deffo be chocolate! Thanks for looking... I have an arduous task ahead of me today... I gotta... tidy up the Room of Trash... I mean Stash LOL Thank you for all the funny comments yesterday... I haven't started hopping to see you yet... that will be later... once this room is looking better, tis starting to bug me now... TTFN

Hels x

Hels - thanks so much for a fab workshop - because even though I have read The Master's CCC - to actually work through stuff with somebody else is so much more interesting, and we had a great bunch of people there.

Thank you also for my little prize for naming your lovely birdies. I already have some ideas about how I am going to use them.

Hugs
Valxx

See you on the 23rd!
