Curiously Masked...

...oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh, I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!! I have this really lovely Postie who brings me lovely lush stash... and this morning he delivered the one and only thing released at CHA that I could easily give up chocolate for... yes, indeedily... I have... THE ROSETTE ALTERATIONS DIE!!! Actually, it was Jennie that posted it for me... so... thank you to Jennie for giving me something new to play with... and keeping me happy, happy, happy!

So... yesterday was Monday... which means a new page to work from on the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge... devised, hosted and overseen by our lovely Leader of the Book... Linda... click here to see all the deets cos I ain't telling you what page etc we are on this week... all I will say is this is something that I don't do often enough and loved playing with my tag this week.

So, the new Rosette Alterations Die which is on my tag... do you like it??? I LOVE IT!!! Well, I figured it looked just a bit flat sat there by itself, so I used some of the Lost & Found stack and cut out a bottletop image... popped this into a real bottletop and then filled with Glossy Accents... cos I am so excited, the GA isn't 100% dried yet in the pics LOL... but doesn't it just go fab? The other thing I have done is used the centre piece and popped this inside a bottletop.. and it fits loverly - and it is spikey so the spikey bits fit into the zigziggy bits of the bottletop!

I used Scattered Straw, Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade and Aged Mahogany Distress Inks for the colouring... popped a little ticket on for the sentiment and added some ribbon and jute... right, I am off to tippytoe about again... tis blowing a gale again today... deffo an afternoon to be sitting making cards methinks... thanks for looking... TTFN

I SO LOVE that rosette die!!! Wow, that looks cool, especially with the bottle cap and L&F paper inside.

Another stroke of genius from you, dear friend!

Great die Hels, love what you have done with it. I don't do enough of the masking either, it's not in my popular repertoire of things to do, which is why the CCC is so good, extends me more.
Hope your back is feeling better today. Popped in to see Wendy earlier cos I was working in the area, have a good day tomorrow.

Wow, you know what's weird? Some OTHER chick named Hels posted a card for the challenge that looks a LOT like this tag! That is the strangest thing! They're both really lovely, though I think your tag is slightly prettier. (Shhh - don't tell that other Hels chick!)
