...mmmm, with a teensy tad of envy LOL You know that Linda woman, you know, the one who has mentioned in passing that she is going to Ranger U next week? Well, it just so happens that a certain Wendy Vecchi will also be at Ranger U too! I actually did a little happy dance for Linda earlier when she called me to tell me... she starting off by saying "promise me you won't hate me" ROFL As if I could... all I do wish is that I too were going to Ranger U next week, I could then push Linda out of the way and bagsie the chair next to Wendy LOL
Anyways... Linda has these countdown to Ranger U tags on the go...today is 8 more sleeps to go... anyone can join in ... so I have joined in and made a tag - which is naturally green... well, what other colour could I use??? LOL I used some Trad Tan to make a resist using a stipple (is that how you spell stipple???) brush, then used Crushed (oh, I truly am indeedily crushed) Olive, Forest Moss and Pumice Stone DI's on the tag...stamped some Tim images...added a Grungeboard birdcage - used one of my new Alterations :O)) - which was coloured with Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge and the a dab of Pumice Stone around the edges and then I cut and curled the cage bars so birdy is not banged up.
I added some Maya Road gems to the base of the cage and then some Idea-ology to the top and to highlight the sentiment, I splodged some Rock Candy Cracklepaint over... I made the bird into a little robin... cos, I looked out of the window as I was making this and a robin was at the bird feeder... thank the lord it wasn't an Albatros, imagine trying to get one of those on a tag!!!
Before I go... please check out the post below.. there is a Blog Hop going on and well worth joining in... I am off to sulk ever so slightly now ROFL TTFN

Wow I really am in awe of your work ...love your tags and the Mad Hatter work are stunningly clever.
Thanks so much for your kind comments about my patterns and yes I sometimes think that they would make fun stamps ...other times I think 'who am I kidding ...i'm no artist'. How does one get them made into stamps anyway ???? xx
Love your caged bird going free, very cool! This is my favorite die!!!
Ah yes, Linda gets to meet Wendy... she isn't rubbing it in atall, is she? lol Lovely little tag, Hels, just love that birdie....
