Shadowing Inkadinkado...

...I made another Shadow Box....I really love making these, they are pretty simple and yet it means that I get to use loads of stamps on one piece of art! All of the stamps used in the main image are from Inkadinkado's clear range...IMO really fabby stamps, great images and great value too...some of the ones I have in my collection are a couple of years old and still seem to be going strong.

The colours I chose are Dusty Concord and Broken China Distress Inks and the stamping was done with StaZon. The frame was painted with....*fanfare* Traditional Tan paint...well, if you love something it is only right to use it ... constantly ROFL...so once the Trad Tan had dried, I used a babywipe and smudged Blue and Purple Claudine Hellmuth paints over the frame and then covered the whole lot with Rock Candy Cracklepaint...which doesn't really show up too well on the pics but it does give a lovely agey feel to it. I thought it all looked a teensy bit pale though...so I got my oldest StaZon which isn't very juicy and swiped it around the edges of the frame just to ...er....frame it LOL

The rose was made using Claudine Hellmuth Sticky Canvas, painted with the same paints and mounted onto some metal and then attached with silicone glue to make it stand up. The idea-ology frame is my very last one *sob* but I just love the look they add to a frame...and the word is an Adage Ticket....there is a story behind this...I loved Linda's idea of filling it up with Crackle Glaze...so I decided to try it...but when I went back to it the following morning all the crackles had crackled off and fallen out of the frame. So, I put them back in and filled it up with Glossy Accents....BIG MISTAKE!!! The GA didn't set clear...and went all yuk and cacky, so I popped the ticket out and started again..leaving out the accenting! All of the products used on this project can be bought from The Stamp Attic.

Thanks for looking...have a great Saturday!

Hels x
