One World One Heart....And The Winner Is....

...Crikey, I cannot believe the amount of amazing comments that I was left for my OWOH entry this year....at 803 I am gobsmacked! As you know, I added more than just the one giveaway to say thank you to you all for your lovely comments and support...believe me when I say that all those lovely kind words have seen me through a tough time and made me feel really chuffed.

I have used Random.Org to choose the winners...and this is the order in which they came out...so this will be the order in which the giveaways are allocated. I will leave comments on each winners blog and ask for them to email me their addy. However, if any one of the winners doesn't come forward to claim the prize before Saturday 20th Feb '10, I will re-draw accordingly :O))

So...here are the winners;

SANDY From Stempelchaotin - Wins giveaway #1 Claimed Posted Out RM - 20/2/10

SHAZZA From Time to Craft - Wins Giveaway #2 Claimed Posted Out RM - 20/2/10

ROB From Creativ Spirit - Wins Giveaway #3 Claimed Posted Out RM - 20/2/10

LINDA B From Eclectic Visions of an Altered Journey - Wins Giveaway #4 Claimed Posted Out RM - 20/2/10

LYNN STEVENS From Trash To Treasure Art - Wins Giveaway #5 Claimed Posted Out RM - 20/2/10

I would also like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE thank you to Lisa who organised this amazing event...and I just cannot wait for the next one...something like this kinda makes me realise that the World ain't such a big scarey place while there are loads of not only talented but also completely bonkers crafters like me in it :O)) ROFL

Thank you ALL again....from the very bottom of my inky heart :O))

Hels xx

**EDIT**

Please peeps, I just want to emphasise that I did use Random.Org to chose the winners...it happens that a couple of them are peeps who comment regularly, but that is just the way it goes...I am being criticised again by yet another "anonymous" commenter...and I really do not want to make this whole giveaway thing turn negative. For heavens sake, there is enough bad in this world already, why make a good and happy thing like the OWOH turn sour. If ANYONE has an issue with the peeps who have been randomly chosen, please just email me and don't bring everyone else down with you? Thanks!

Congratulations to your winners!!!
I think that we all walked away from this amazing journey with a gift....the gift of finding kindred spirits...new friends and seeing that we all have things in common.

Hugs,
Regi

Anonymous......why leave negative comments if you've got no spine to leave your name too? By all means comment if it's constructive but your post is ill thought out and badly punctuated. If however it's a result of jealousy, then just get yourself a life, please.

Honestly.

anonymous

Stop hiding and just be open who you are.

You obviously have some negativity towards me and that just makes you look rather silly and pathetic.

OWOH is a HUGE Global event, a happy event that brings like minded bloggers and crafters together. I have met several lovely people with whom I know I will remain friends.

As for you....please just go away and find something constructive to do with your time....oh, and if you want to leave me a comment, fine, just keep your nastiness to yourself.

thank you Regi and Grim ... bless you both xx

Oh my goodness 'anonymous' how could you say such a thing - and how could you remain anonymous too -that is truly cowardly and your comment is so unjust.

This blog has lots and lots of followers, and I am a regular follower too as I am of lots of other blogs. I have entered lots of giveaways - and as with the lottery and raffles, I am just one of those folks who rarely ever wins a thing. I think you miss the point of giveaways. The blog hosts who so generously host them are gaining nothing from doing so - and its just meant to be fun too. So if a 'regular' commentator does win, it is just pot luck - and well done too I say - because if anything, they deserve too - but it is purely co-incidence.

My advice to you would be not to enter any giveaways, if you feel the way you do, because it just shows you in a bad light - that you have not interest in the hosts artwork, or talents, but just after a freebie.

Sorry Hels, and following folks who read this - I am usually the most tolerant and mild mannered person you could ever meet and wouldn't say 'boo' to a goose - but the Anonymous comment really made me cross and does a great dis-service to the great majority of us bloggers and blog hoppers, who love to visit others, enjoy seeing the art, take inspriration from it, are grateful for any visits or comments we get to our blogs, and truly appreciate those generous artists who do give away their work, which if I had been clever enough to make it - would treasure it rather than give it away LOL.

If you can't say anything nice - then please do not say anything at all or have the courage to at least be public

Phew - I am off to bed - once again - sincere apologies everyone - but I do hope you can understand what I am trying to say.

God bless

OOps I started my comment before the others - took me a long time to finish it - glad I am not the only one that feels the injustice of the Anonymous comment

Congratulatons to all the winners of Hels' amazing art - I want to add my feelings to those about "anonymous" - how petty can you get? Why, I comment here all the time and I didn't win. So grow up, enjoy the fab art and ...... well I think you get the picture. Hels, you are an inspiration to us all, don't let it get you down (I know you won't!!)

Well done to the winners xx And well done Hels your work is stunning xx

Congrats to the winners...they have won some fabulous creations! I think anonymous should keep their mouth shut or comment in person.....but of course people like that never do!!!

Hi Hels
All I need to add is that the winners are very lucky to own a piece of your Art, ignore the ignorant Anonymous, I had such a pathetic cooment on my blog a while ago but it was obvious to me and several other people who it was so they only served to make themselves look stupid. As Grim quite rightly said, constructive comments are fine, ignorant ones are not

(I am however a little bit envious of the winners LOL)

(well alot envious actually)

Shazza said...

OMG I actually won something! I never win anything and am so chuffed that I am getting to give a home to one of your works of art Hels.
As for anonymous, I'll be waiitn gin the alley in Illinois as well - ignoramus.
Shows they don't know you and the lovely person you are
hugs and congreat to my fellow winners and to Hels

Congratulations to the winners :) For the sake of Anonymous and anyone else who feels the same, I comment regularly on Hels blog and knew Hels (via the internet) before she had the blog and I didn't win but anyway I didn't take part just to win I was only to happy to comment on the art that Hels made for this event. It would have been great to win something that Hels made, but that's the luck of the draw.
My problem now is I can't remember some of the blogs where I left a comment :-/

for anonymous' information - I know Hels personally and there isn't a more genuine, caring and honest person - she is loved and well thought of by all who know her. Sadly anonymous you have very serious problem and I suggest you need a specialist's help to get that enormouse envy green stripe removed from down your back. You really need to get yourself a life.

Hels - ignore him/her, they should post as ignoramus not anonymous,

Congrats to all the winners.
I too could not believe what I was reading from anonymous. I have only just started blogging and have entered challenges and blog candy giveaways as a bit of fun, to appreciate other peoples' artwork and to gain inspiration to develop my own artwork. To win anything is purely a bonus as it is more important to me to enjoy sharing our craft.
I'm sorry Hels that you were subjected to that comment but I'm sure you have broader shoulders than anonymous has guts.
Love your work and may it continue, x

Hels, all I can say is congrats to those who won your fabulous prizes.

On another note some people can be so shallow minded and have nothing better to do other than whinge.

I love your blog (I found it from ClarkyJ) and will try my best to take part in your challenges.

Emma xx

I came on here to say congrats to the winners (am so jealous), however I agree with a lot of the other comments. Anonymous obviously has nothing better to do with there time. Crafting is a way to make friends & relax and blogs are a way of admiring other people's work & sharing ideas. If you don't like what you see or what is happening then walk away from it.

Ann said...

Congratulations to all the winners-you will be delighted with your art work, as I'm very lucky to have quite a few sensational works of Hels stunning artwork.
As for Anonymous - you are a spineless jealous sad person & should crawl back under the stone you slithered out from!!
Like Bee, I'm honoured to call Hels a friend & she is an absolute ANGEL who is caring, compassionate & extremely popular & talented. As Grim says if you can't be constructive or open - then go away!!
Hels - Ignore the ignoramous!! We all love & admire you & your art work!!! Hugs, Ann xxx

So sorry to read the comment from anonymous, You have a huge following and its no wonder you know some of us! I think Lottie summed it up pretty well!

Hi Hels,
My parcel arrived and I am thrilled to be one of your lucky winners. Please don't be hurt by anonymous comments, anyone who can't put their names to a comment isn't worth considering.

I love what you do and will keep on coming back to be inspired.

Thanks again.
