Stars In Her Eyes...

...Hey bloggers I am home :O)) Thanks ever so much for all the great comments you have left me this week...t'was lovely to read them all! I had ever such a lovely time with Andrea...we got inky and messy for a whole day on Tuesday and I made a few things...my favest was this canvas tho...totally inspired by the crafting Goddess Wendy Vecchi and using all my fave products;

The canvas is 4" square...and the last of my collection of them... I need to do some serious Googling to find more of them 'cos I love this size to work on. The canvas was painted with Traditional Tan (what else eh?) and then I used Fired Brick Distress Ink to add some colour. The background is stamped using Studio 490 stamps and separated with some ribbon and lace. I used Grungepaper to make a rose, colouring Old Paper on both sides and then stamping the Gingham stamp with Fired Brick for colour... do you notice the little chippy flower behind? This is a brill shape and I can't remember where I got it from, so if you recognise it, please tell me :O))

I used plain cardstock to stamp the head onto...I tried Grungepaper but it just didn't work...too dull believe it or not...and the specs are copied from one of Wendy's ideas, using Tim's Film Strip for the frames... I added little orange stars over her eyes for something a little bit different. The wings behind her are also chipboard but this time I know they are Maya Road mini's LOL I did add some Rock Candy Crackle to the corner of the canvas but it really doesn't show up in my naff photo's!

Thanks for looking...and thanks again for your comments!

Hels x

Your photos are so not NAFF! Shiny and sparkly bits are hard to capture. Your work is incredible and we're lucky that you'll share it.

Fantastic canvas. Can't believe it is only a 4 inch square. There is so much on there. One of the first things I noticed was the wonderful shape of the chipboard flower in background. Sorry no ideas. The head is great too.
