On The Wings of Time...

...Another piece from the Artsy Crafts weekend...this was one of my faves, I got to play with metal, Grungepaper and ... a melt pot!! However...when I got home the UTEE had cracked across the middle :O(( My own fault for not being more careful packing up my bags. Here it is anyway:

I decided to have a go and make one for myself and then got a bit carried away and ended up making it into a Clucker!

The UTEE from the melt pot was poured into a cookie cutter which was placed over a piece of decorated metal and then Grungepaper wings and metal head and legs were added. I love him...think he is a cool dude :O)) I plan to use him on the front of a Journal which I am in the middle of altering at the moment.

Thanks for looking...have a good one

Hels x

These are gorgeous, Hels! I'd love to take a class like this! (Wish I had any good shops in my area--no classes!) I really love your work--so fun to come here and see what you're working on!

shame about the crack, can you give it a blast with your heatgun to re melt the crack? or maybe you have stamped into the UTEE, in which case you can't, can't tell from the photo x

Both gorgeous Hels. You could reheat the UHT couldn't you if you don't like the crack.

Oh, Hels, he's delightful!! And you can try taking a heat gut to the crack on your other piece (carefully, of course) to make that crack less noticeable. It still looks lovely, though, even with the crack :)
