...Another one of those fab Reasons To Stamp over on Gingersnap Creations today...Family History Month....so I made a card; I used a Paperbag Studio's stamp which I coloured with Distress Inks and then layered the photo's and the little barn. I made a couple of messages using Innovative Stamp Creations and PaperArtsy stamps.
For the background, I stamped a Tim Holtz collection tree stamp using Peeled Paint Distress Ink. Whilst this was still wet, I dabbed old gold Perfect Pearls over the top and then used a Mini Mister, spritzing water over the top of the image. This is a fab technique because the Pearls have set but the Distress Ink still reacts with the water, so it bleeds and makes a really cool smudgy image. A lovely card Hels! It would be perfect for someone who enjoys cheese and biscuits (but not extra mature, that can be a bit sharp sometimes, can't it. Oh, and not the stuff that's been dyed orange either, that's just unnatural, and all that artificial colouring can't be good for the system, don't you think? Oh, and not mouldy cheese either, who in their right mind wants to eat cheese that's gone green?)
this is a super card Hels and not sure if it reminds me of a card for someone who loves cheese or if they prefer the wine that goes with it xx ooooooo and 3 more sleeps until time takes over
