Movie Star, Oh Movie Star.....GingerSnap Challenge

Hi Peeps,

Over on the Gingersnap Creations Blog there is a brand new Challenge for us all....and the theme is: Movie Stars

For my entry I have returned to type...and made a tag...this one is a bit of a big 'un tho...being about 8" by 4".




Using Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Fired Brick and a couple of Tim Holtz Mini Masks, I coloured the surface of the tag and then chucked water drops at it to make little splodgy patches **NB I am attempting to use correct terminology here...correct me if I am wrong** LOL




I had this tag all planned out...I was going to print off the words to that song...you know the one...Movie Star...by Harpo...cos I looove that song...only, I can't love it that much cos I didn't know the words were about a bloke (ROFL)....and I had already stamped and coloured the lady image (which is a PaperArtsy stamp) So, instead, I used Grungeboard Mini Alpha's and a few star shapes....oh and I nearly forgot...the fab negative film reel stamp is a new one from The Artistic Stamper. Actually, come to think of it..all of the stash used on this tag is from there save for the lady image!




The Blingy bit is the Stickles...which I made up using Fired Brick Distress and Champagne Designer Stickles and applied with a Cut n Dry nib. And .. the stars on the side are a Tim stamp, which I used Gold Dabber and embossed to set so it was raised.....




Thanks girls for the FAB challenge, I loooooved playing and getting all glittery again.

And thanks for looking....am off to try and get rid of the red paws I have got now :O))
