Oranges & Lemons Studio 490 Style

Hello again.....two posts in one day !!

You know what it is like...you spend ages making a birthday card for your mate and you send it off .. and it never gets there :O(( Well, this happened a couple of weeks ago when it was my friend Alison's birthday. Instead of making another card, I decided to make a piece of hanging art for her to make up for the fact that my card never got there in time for her special day. Now, I am relying on the post actually delivering this to her this morning - hoping she has already seen it LOL

I used those fabby Studio 490 stamps ... yes, again....yes, I am obsessed, addicted, call it whatever LOL

Using Adirondack Pigment inks, Cut n Dry foam to blend and a piece of mountboard as a base, I coloured the board and lots of Grungepaper - which, by the way, you can get from The Artistic Stamper...where there is also a little sale on the stamps too....bargain time ;o)) Anyways, where was I? Ah, yes, colouring Grungepaper, stamping onto it using Timber Brown StaZon ink and then cutting out the images.

I layered them onto the mountboard and stuck them with silicone glue and Glossy Accents and then added a couple of buttons and some Distress Stickles to jazz it up a bit. You can't see in the pics but I did add some yellow beaded fringing to the bottom of the board and the ribbons are a conconction of ones from my stash.

Hoping that Alison likes this piece of art...and that it got to her this time LOL

Thanks for looking......please remember to pop back in the morning when the new Sunday Stamper challenge will be ready for you all.
