He's A Right Bobby Dazzler

"He" is my lovely Father-In-Law who really is a treasure and I love him loads. He is a retired Policeman and I happened across the perfect stamp to use to make his Fathers' Day card.

The stamp is by Lost Coast Designs and I bought it from Scrapz. If you haven't visited Scrapz yet, you really must because Karen has soooo many heavenly Lost Coast stamps to buy and they are really very good!

I started this card by stamping the Policemen in Blue Archival ink and then masking them individually. This was fiddly to do but so worth it! I then stamped the Barbed Wire - also from Lost Coast Designs - over the top of the masks using black VersaFine ink.



Next, I used Cut & Dry to colour the card piece using Faded Jeans Distress Ink. I then matted the card onto blue Bazzill and then another piece of card which I had also "distressed" with the Faded Jeans.

I used a bubble stamp from PaperBag Studios and randomly stamped this with Faded Jeans onto the main cardstock. I used a piece of Cut & Dry to smudge the images and make them more blended. I again stamped the Barbed Wire a few times across the middle of the cardstock and then stuck the main image over it.

Finally, I added a little sentiment which I made using StudioG Alpha's....I thought that the words were rather perfect for him 'cos he is a Bobby Dazzler! :O))

I spoke to FiL this morning and he is chuffed with his card - he said it is one of the nicest cards he has ever received, bless him.
