Sunday Stampers - Week 15 - Two Little BOYS

Good morning and happy Sunday to you all!

Thank you to those of you who joined in with the last challenge, there were some fab creations made :O))

This week the theme is BOYS. I chose this song as it is a lovley one but it always used to make me cry....being a bit of a softee and all that. However, you will all be happy to know that I will never ever cry when I hear this song again....and that is all thanks to LindaE and her rendition of this song last night :O)) LOL

I have made a tag for the challenge this week.



I started by stamping the little man image (Tim Holtz Collection) directly onto the tag using black VersaFine ink. I then made a mask for the image and covered it up. I used Cut & Dry foam and blended Weathered Wood, Faded Jeans and Walnut Stain Distress Inks over the tag. With the mask still in place, I flicked water over the inky part and then stamped the checkered border (Lost Coast Designs) in Faded Jeans all the way down the tag. I inked up the Memories word stamp using black VersaFine and stamped this on the bottom of the tag. I bought a new stamp yesterday which is by PaperBag Studios and is a scruffy ringbinder image, so I inked with Goss boss clear ink, stamped it onto the left side of the tag and embossed with gold powder. Finally, I used a waterbrush and coloured the collar of the boys shirt and his hat and then distressed the edge of the tag and used ..... yep, you guessed it!! Gold Krylon on the edging :O))
