Hello again,
Another card made for the Papertake Challenge this week which is Blue & Green.
I had loads of fun with this one! :O)) My friend Kerry has sent me some webbing stuff, that when heated, bubbles up and then goes all splotchy...yes, I know, I am brilliant at describing things and always use those techernical terms....:O))
So, I cut a piece of this webbing stuff and popped it over a card. I heated it up with my heat gun and to my amazement it started to bubble and looked all splotchy! Once it was completely heated, I let it cool down and then dabbed Green and Blue Perfect Pearls over it. I then re-heated it to set the pigments and then got to work on the rest of the card.
I used a piece of paper from the Addison by K&Co range. I matted this onto cream and then green cardstock. I added a little word sticker from the same range, matting this too. I then painted a Maya Road chipboard flower using Lettuce, Pool and Juniper Dabbers, then I popped some more of the webby splotchy stuff over the top of it and heated it up as before. Again, once cooled I dabbed Perfect Pearls onto it and then edged with gold Krylon (for a change!!) I added a little gold button that I had tied ribbon thru. I love the look of the splotchy webbing, so look out for it again, I have a feeling it will be featuring regularly!!
Thanks for looking!!
