Hello again,
Blimey, where did this week go? I have just had a week off work and it has flown past. Back to the grindstone in the morning!!
The challenge for the Sunday Stamper this week is called "MonoChrome".
So, make a card, tag, ATC or even alter something but keep the colours black & white or cream & white.
Here is my card for this week.
I started by picking out my most beloved paper collection, Avenue by Crate Paper. It seems that no matter what I make using this paper, they finished article always looks really nice.
I cut some of the paper and made a little black mat for it. I then stamped a Brush Iris (Penny Black) onto some cream card using a black VersaFine inkpad. I stamped Happy Birthday (another Penny Black) onto cream card and made a black mat for this too. I then stamped the Brush Butterfly (you guessed it, Penny Black!!) twice and cut him out. I stuck the mat of paper onto the side of the card so the iris is still visible. I then attached the message mat, layering it onto 3D foam so it stands out a bit. The two butterflies then had their wings curled (using the heat from my fingers to bend the card) I stuck these onto the design and added a few little gems for their bodies. Finally, I took some Cut & Dry foam and smudged black Distress Ink around the edges to make the card look more tied together.
I hope that you all really enjoy this Challenge - I have been overwhelmed with the amount of peeps that have joined in last weeks and I hope that you all return for this one.

Beautiful! In fact I love this more than I love Elizabeth Shaw's mint chocolate crispy thingys .... you know the ones in the round box that you have at Christmas time and after dinner parties :0))
