Winged Things ATCs

Hi there,

The monthly rubberstamping ATC challenge is "Winged Things" this month. I have left it a bit late but have managed to get around to making three ATCs this evening.

For each one I have used the Brush Butterfly stamp (yes, the fave one I am always using!!) and I have also used UTEE on all the ATCs.

ATC 1

For this one, I covered an ATC sized piece of mountboard with Dabbers in Cool Peri. Then I streaked Eggplant Dabber over the surface and made an edge with Silver Dabber. I then stamped the sentiment onto the ATC. I then used UTEE to cover the whole ATC and on the last layer I lightly sprinkled a bit of silver holographic powder on the still wet UTEE. I then stamped a fluttery butterfly stamp into the hot UTEE so I got a debossed image. I used the butterfly stamp and covered with Eggplant Dabber and a bit of Silver Dabber around the outside of the wings. I then stamped the image onto a bit of scrap card and used clear embossing powder to give a raised finish to the butterfly. Finally, I added a few adhesive gems to the body of the butterfly.

ATC 2

For this one, I covered mountboard with a coffee bean inkpad and then stamped the Puccini's Muse (Imperial Cargo) by Stampington & Co. Then I inked up the butterfly stamp with Coffee Bean Brilliance DewDrop pad and stamped and embossed the butterfly adding a few golden adhesive gems for the body of the butterfly.
I then covered the whole ATC with UTEE and on the final layer I added a spinkle of Enchanted Gold embossing powder. I added a DooDad word and brown ribbon to finish the ATC off.

ATC 3

For the final ATC, I used a small piece of "Avenue" by Crate Paper and stamped the fluttery buttflies onto the bottom half of the ATC. I used the same method of UTEE as I had done with the other ATCs and whilst the UTEE was still hot, I sprinkled a little bit of silver embossing powder to add a bit of sparkle. The butterfly embellishment was stamped on a piece of white card and then once I had added embossing powder to it, I then added a Bindi for the body. I also added a few fibres and a DooDad word as a final flourish.

I really enjoyed making these ATCs. I used a different medium for each one but they all have a similar look.

Thanks for looking

Hels x
