Choccy Lime Bind It All Book

Hi There

Today I decided to re-visit my old favourite papers; Urban Couture by Basic Grey. It is ages since I have last used them and decided to make a mini book today. I gave myself a challenge that I was not allowed to use any rubber stamp embellishments, and with the exception of two word/sentiment stamps, I made all the embellishments myself using my trusty QuicKutz handtool. The words are vellum stickers by BoBunny Press.

I am really chuffed with the over all result of this challenge....and it has also meant that I have broken my crafters block!! It was a departure from the usual Tim Holtz style creations I have been making more recently....and I think it gave me a boost to make something totally different. I really enjoyed making this little book, it was a quicky and only took a couple of hours to complete.

I also used a few brads for the flower centres and I used a chocolate brown chalk inkpad just to add a bit of definition to the edges of the paper, flowers and pages. I have made this little book for a friend....I hope she likes it!! ;o))

Thanks for looking!!
