A Tag for MonaLisa!

A lady on CSF missed out on a recent "Tim Holtz Style" Tag Swap that I ran. So I have made her a tag in this style.

I used buff coloured cardstock and measured the tag to be 3" x 6". Using Distress pads in Vintage Photo and Aged Mahogany, I scraped a Cranberry Dabber over the top and then spritzed the tag with water. This technique gives a lovely mottled effect. All the stamps I used on the tag are in the Tim Holtz Collection by Stampers Anonymous. I used Worn Wallpaper across the bottom of the back of the tag. I then used the large bird image which I stamped in Aged Mahogany and then using Walnut Stain inkpad I stamped the sentiment. To add a final finish, I added a DooDad word and then stamped the seed head stamp at the top, as this part of the tag looked a bit bare.



For the other side of the tag, I stamped the little girl image in Walnut Stain ink and then just lightly stamped the seed head stamp in Aged Mahogany ink. I added a little tape measure which is a DooDad and then added the word "Adventure" which is also a DooDad.




I really love using Tim Holtz products. I know that I will always get a really nice finish and his stamps are the best as they are so easy to use!
