Sunday Stamper - Week 280 - Whole Lotta Rosie

Gooodly Morning Stampers and a very happy Sunday to you all!  Many thanks for all the wintery creations entered for last weeks challenge.  This week the theme is a nice simple one... and the song title is getting another airing because I know I used it before... anyways... the theme is... ROSES.  To join in is simples: make a little something, it can be anything you fancy.  Add in the theme and some stamping and then pop back here, leave me a comment with a link to the place you are showing your entry and I can pop and see you.  If you haven't got a blog, you can also join in via Facebook (simply tag my name in your upload) or via email by attaching a small size pic (my email addy is over there *click on the pic of me*)   The challenge will remain open until 21:00 Saturday 2nd November 2013.  *November... already!*

My entry this week is another sample for the Melt Pot Pick of the Day.  All the deets for the shows are over in the side bar :O))   A fabby MDF blank shadowbox - I love these blanks, they are so versatile!  I painted the base with Mushroom Eco Paint and then added some blue tones to add a little colour.  I used Cut & Dry foam to apply the paint so I could get some nice streaky lines and patches.

I stamped the Chicken Wire background using Black StaZon onto a single ply of cosmetic tissue and then popped it onto the blank using beeswax... I just love beeswax and the lovely soft tone effect it gives.  I added a smidge of Mica Powder around the edges to add some sparkle to the base and then made a card insert, again painting it the same as the frame and adding some stamping... the sentiment - love that sentiment - and then I stamped some more flowers to make them into roses... dipped these into the beeswax and glued them into place.

I shall away now - I am scheduling this post because I am away teaching this weekend... so it is really Friday morning now... not Sunday at all... which will only confuse me if I start to think about that so... I shall say... thanks for looking, have a great day!  TTFN

Morning Hels, Really lovely shadow box, the piccie is quite deceptive, I couldn't decide if the middle was 'going back' or 'coming out' (if you get what I mean). Gorgeous colours, gorgeous stamping and stunning flowers.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Firstly - love this piece. Fabulous colours and the roses are particularly fabulous. Secondly - fab shows, you must be exhausted. Hair looked stunning and I adored the poppies you were wearing. Brilliant demos and great samples - those rings (*sigh*). Lastly, here's the first of my goes this week
