I've Been Framed...

...well, not me personally..more like the cards that I made as part of my DT for Darkroom Door.  So, here I am today with a couple of cardy offerings that I have made using the new Wooden frame stamp.  To see deets of the Darkroom Door shop, CLICK HERE... and for more goodies from the DT, HERE is the blog.  My first card is made using the Wooden frame as a proper frame.

I stamped the frame using Coffee Archival Ink and cut it out, including the centre.  I then stamped it again and used this one as a base for the frame.  A smidge of Distress Ink: Antique Linen and Forest Moss, to colour the insidey bit and then more Distress Ink: Frayed Burlap and Vintage Photo to colour the frame.

This was then popped onto 3d foam.  The inserty bit needed a nice wordage... so I used the Full Bloom Vol 2 set, adding a sprig and a sentiment using Jet Black Archival... and I also used this set to stamp some diddy flowers, colouring them with Tumbled Glass Distress Marker, shaping them with a ball tool and then adding a pearl for the middles... and popping them onto the frame...

The second card was made the other way around... so I stamped the frame once in Jet Black Archival and used the piece that I had gutted out of the first card frame to stamp onto with the sentiment which is also from the Full Bloom Vol 2.  I used the same DI's to colour the frame and the insert was coloured with Antique Linen and Seedless Preserves DI's.  The florals are stamped and shaped as before and they too are coloured with the same DI's as the wordy bit.

I hope you like my cardy creations!  I shall away now, thanks for looking, TTFN

Hi Hels,
Just gorgeous - like all the things that you do!
Took delivery of some Fresco paints yesterday and cannot wait for a play session. The frame stamp will lend itself to some weathered Scandinavian-looking artwork, me thinks..I'm like a child in a toy shop at the moment.
Lots of Love, Lis xx
