And... The Winner Is...

...cor blimey!  Tis winner's day again today and, firstly, thank you for the mahooosive 70 comments left for me... wow, I am so chuffty tuffty! Thank you!  So, I fed the data into Random.Org (get me, feeding data, makes me sound like I am a whizz with all things computery lol)  And this is the answer he gave me:

Which tallies with the comment left by Tracy Heaton. Congrats to Tracy and please can you send me your addy by email so I can pop your pressie into the post!

A quick update on the old poorly peeper... still poorly!  Not quite sure what I have done, well, I didn't actually do anything, it just got reallllly sore... so I am confined to specs again and am getting used to them, well, a bit used to them lol
Anyways, let me tell you about what AlfieCat did last night!  He is a little monkey indeedily... leading Mummy down the garden path!  So, we got home from our meal out (which was scrummy btw and we were all very saintly and declined pudding!) and Alf is expecting his supperingtons.  Which I was going to give him but first I needed to take some meds and have a crafty you know what out of the back door.  Now, Alf is allowed out during the day but not after dark because he turns into a lunatic and goes off for hours on end.  Well, I was wearing a new hair accessory... namely a big bundle of blue feathers... and when I took it off Alf was making out he was wanting to nick it, so I clipped it onto his collar... and in return for my jazzing up his outfit, he beggared off into the garden, danced about a bit (you know that daft cat-dance thing when they are wearing something that annoys them?)  and then he ran down the garden path to his little Alfie Hole in the fence (years ago, when we had the new fence installed, we got the nice Fence Man to cut a hole in it so Alf can get through to the Spinney and go mousing - see we are good parents like that...)  Anyways... after calling him, trying to see him (remember, I am partially sighted with my broken eye) I gave up, turned the catflap to open only and went to sit down... Then I remembered he hadn't had his supperingtons so I grabbed his bowl and a fork and rattled them outside the back door... my neighbours love me you know :O))   Well, there he is, hurtling up the garden path, sans fancy feathery hair accessory... or so I thought.  What had actually happened was it had spun around on his collar and was now under his chin.  He looked SO cute, blue is SO his colour!  Unfortunately I didn't get a photo of it, so I shall spend today trying to recreate it and try and get a piccie to share with you.... but he did get extra treats last night because he came home for Mummy, meaning I didn't have to sit by the back door all night worrying about him and waiting for him to put in an appearance (yes, been there, done that... several times... much to Grim's surprise as he keeps reminding me "he is a cat, he likes the dark... "  Well, I am an anxious Mummy...)   Right, enough of my wafflings, I shall away, I have cats to accessorize and work to be done!  Thanks for looking.. have a grand day!  TTFN

Hels x

PS... just a heads up - I have been given some more dates for Melt Art shows on Create & Craft, as it stands it will be 9th May at 12pm and 4pm but that could change so I will keep you informed :O))

Hiya Hels,

What are you and Alfie like? So laughed.

Me thinks it might be an idea to have the eye checked out. (That's the mother (grandmother) in me talking).

Look forward to some more shows. X

Rofl.... Alfie dancing about with a blue feather accessory, wonder what his mates had to say when he went through his little hole?? Can you imagine? He was probably relieved when he heard his bowl... Ohhh, sorry... I just miss my baby boy so much thus hearing about Alfie's antics bring all the memories flooding back!! I was exactly the kinda mummy you are so totally get it!
Gosh, how rude am I?? I haven't even mentioned your poorly eye (cats come before peeps for me?). Honestly I do hope you are better soon but may be wise to go to Dr, eyes are rather precious?
Anyhooo, only finished a card so far, must get on... Well done to Tracey (she says without an ounce of jealousy,.lol).
Take great care Hels, thank you :))

Hi Hels, well if I make a spelling error it's your fault, I can barely see a thing through the tears from laughing so much! You must must get your eye to the doc's, even if you put it in a box, eyes are so precious. Congrats to Tracy, as that old song say's "It should have been me" I'm not at all jealous, honest. Your Alfie cat is such a little "scamp" he bit off more than he could chew running down the garden with them blue feathers, he came back because his cat mates were taking the mick out of him!!! Hels, how could you not have had pudding, it's the law when you go out for a meal tut tut, no matter how full you are! Glad you enjoyed it though. How did the make up turn out? Anyway, looking forward to your next visit on C&C, gives me a few weeks to save some pennies! Have a great day, chasing your Alfie to get that picture, RUN ALFIE RUN!!! Crafty hugs Debbie R xx

I am sure we are related, I too am an anxious mummy, my cats are only allowed out when I am here, otherwise they are in, they dont get let out in the evening as I know I wouldnt get any sleep..... yesterday my Tinxy Boo refused to come in, she knew we were going out and it took an hour for her to deign to walk her little catty backside in through the front door!!! I was convinced she was stuck somewhere..... hope your eye gets better soon... x

Hi Hels, Congratulations to Tracy.
I know exactly what you mean about AlfieCat, I would be just the same with Lizzie, she gets her catflap locked at 8pm, when she gets her tea, and she doesn't go out until 7am after she's had her brekkie. I would have been waiting up too, what are we like ha ha.
Glad your eye is feeling much better now.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Hels..........your poor eye...hope its better soon. I think Alfie just wanted to cheer you up x

Made me laugh so hard as I have two 14yr old cats and they are so different. One loves people and sleeping. He is always around, follows like a dog. I whistle them to come in and like you I cannot sleep until they are safe and sound

Sam is a little princess, my mum, Rita, says they remind her of lady and the Tramp as she is very alooof and he is like a bull in a China shop.

Huge congrats to Tracy xx
