Show & Tell...

...actually, I do that most times I blog don't I?  Show... and then tell (usually in rambling waffley fashion) but today I have some cool stuff to show and tell you about... starting with something I have been lustingly and longingly adoring for the past few months.  And the object of my desire? Shoes.  Gorgeous. To. Die. For. Shoes.  And last week I caved in and ordered them... well, I needed to because I had begun to dream of them.  And they arrived on Wednesday... and... I. Am. Gutted!  Why?  Because they are tooooo small!!!  My usual foot size is a 4.5 or 5 depending on the shop.  So I ordered the size 5 being as they don't have half sizes.  And they took nearly a week to arrive... and obviously, as soon as they were in my paws, I needed to try them on.  And... couldn't even get my right foot into the shoe... the left one got into the shoe but the resulting agony meant that it was removed pdq.  They are small... I have measured them and they are more a size 3.5 than a 5.  Here they are... before they are returned... and I have decided... whilst I have diddy-ish feet (Ellen said I have Hobbit feet) they also resemble duck flippers... very broad and very flipperish... so I am going to give away my longing ache for my ownership of said shoes and spend the refund on... STASH!  At least stash doesn't need to fit.  *and there's a rather deeelish new Fossil handbag I have my eye on..... ahem*

The next item in the show and tell is Mr. Stash Monkey.  He was made for me by Crafty Aly and I loves him... isn't he just too cute!!!   He was on show at Inspirations on Wednesday and lots of lovely ladies all said he looks like he needs a swag bag... he is a rocking the old burglar-fash isn't he?  lol

Next up is a beautiful tag that was given to me by Helen... what a gorgeous pressie, a lovely surprise and her sweet kind words on the back brought a little tear to my eye....

And finally... my Ukelele!   Isn't it a gorgeous specimen?  One song I want to learn is this one... CLICK HERE to listen to it.   I am totally obsessed with this song, I have been ever since I first heard it... the very end credits of the last episode of Life On Mars had this song playing over... and at one time I had it on continuous loop playing here on the blog.  When you go and watch, do be warned, you might need a tissue because this one never fails to make me emotional, Israel passed away a few years ago and you can see at the end of the video... well, I will leave it to you to see.....       Anyways, that sounds quite a complicated tune to learn so I shall learn with something more simples... *am hoping Richard is reading this and he will come to my rescue and re-string my Uke (get me, doing muso-abreviations lol) and show me how to play it.....*

Remember me telling you about the deeeelish Fish n Chips that Joanne brought for me?  Well, here's a piccie of them... and... because there were two mahoosive portions, I decided to be an ever-loving wifey and shared them with Grim last night for supper.  Oh my, they were as nice as the first day... and apart from a small issue of setting fire to the cooker... erm.   Well, basically the chips needed a bit hottery bit *most excellent use of sentence contstruction and styntax there.... * in the oven... so I took the rack with the fish on off the baking tray and shoved them onto the shelf below... with no baking tray underneath... and the fat dripped onto the bottom of the oven.  We have an electric oven.  Yep, clouds of black smoke billowed through the kitchen and oh dear, it is a very stinky mess indeedily.  I think I shall be donning rubber gloves and Mr Muscle today because if I forget, yep, next time I use said oven I will have clouds of black smoke again... mmm, quite.

This morning we took a little trip into town and I wanted to go to Morri's to get some Mr. Muscle oven stuff... our oven apparently is self cleaning... yeah right.  So we went to Morri's, I forgot my list so therefore, forgot the thing I was going in there for... but I did manage to find these... mmmm.... nomnomnomnom....  there is always time for a Cheeto's break right?

Anyways... no arty things today... otherwise you would be gathering dust and cobwebs sitting reading my wafflings... I shall be back later on with an arty post... in the meantime... have a grand afternoon!  I am playing with lovely Prima stashly goodies and prepping up my Snazzy DT stuff for next week... ahhh, happy days right!   TTFN
