...I am home! Oh yesh, after the trip from hell, I made it safely back to Blighty earlier today. I thought that the flights might be cancelled etc cos of the snow over here... seems Mr Delta Airlines had different agenda's and cancelled them anyway... and sent me on a wild goose chase across, what felt like, the whole of the United States. Actually, it was a flight to Detroit and then a flight to Heathrow. Not that big an issue, scheduled landing a few hours later but, hey ho, that's life. Not so. I always have been struck by the customer service in America, the happiness of the customer service providers, always smiling and ever helpful. Well, I don't normally do the old "negative meanyness" on here... but I shall make an exception for the cast of last nights journey back to the UK... I have never encoutered such rudeness... and I have shopped plenty of times in "that supermarket". Suffice to say, Mr Delta Airline will be getting a strongly worded and ever so slightly sarcastic letter from me tomorrow!
But first! Hurrah and thrice, I am home, safely, albeit a little more jaded than when I left but oh boy, what a few days it has been. Thanks to you all for your lovely comments and hi to the new followers here! I haven't really got the energy to do a long old post so I thought I would share with you these two pics... my AlfieCat, not at all excited to see his Mummy, more excited to see what goodies she brought back from America!
I shall pop a post on tomorrow with more pics from my stay with Ellen... and then you never know, I may get to show you some of the arty things we made whilst playing in her Studio... and yes, I tidied it up after me.. well, sort of lol Oh and the Room of Stash? The fact that I spent all those hours tidying and cleaning before I went away.... SO worth it... I walked into a nice clean tidy room... erm... tisn't so tidy now, I have goodies to stash away but that will be tomorrow... first, a long soak in a hot bath... Grim is on nights *boohoo* so I am soaking then snoozling, hoping that I don't ping wideawake at 3am or some time stoopid lol .... I shall away... Thanks for looking... TTFN!

You will be awake at 3 - guaranteed!!! Poor you with the flights - did wonder what your journey would be like but so glad you got home OK. So very glad to hear you got back ok - airlines are right rotten so and so's sometimes! Was worried the snow might have caused issues but just the usual airline hassles! Make sure you rest loads and keep up your fluid intake - you gonna crash big time hun so take care of you! Karen x
