It's Like Picadilly Circus Here....

...actually, it IS Picadilly Circus!!! Oh yesh, I am back today with another offering for the Snazzy DT using those delish Darkroom Door stamps. I have done the whole waffley thing on how I made it etc HERE on the DT blog... please do pop over and take a look - oh and it will be worth your while cos whilst you are there you can be in with a chance of winning a set of these stamps for yourself. All the deets are over there so it is simples ;o))

Anyways... today. Well, today is a day that, a few months ago, I didn't think I would see again. I try not to do too much of the "personal life" waffle on here because, after all, it is a crafty blog but I could have filled pages and pages in recent months about how things have been and how hard life became for Grim on February 29th. As a train driver, he suffered the worst imaginable thing - again - just two years after the last one. I have felt utterly helpless while I sat there and saw my beloved husband go to the gates of hell and back again. With the help of an amazing Dr and Grim's own inner strength he has overcome the terrible situation he was placed in. And today he has put his uniform back on and has returned to work. It was 34 years yesterday since he started on the railway, it is in his blood, it is the reason why we met and it is his passion (as well as Luton Town FC). Today he has made me so proud I feel I could burst... so, for you Grim... well done, I am so proud of you; the way you have coped, your inner strength and for just being you. Here's one of my fave pics of Grim, in Morecambe, on a footy trip...

That's all I can say now really... as ever, thanks for looking... TTFN

Without our loves, our family and friends we are diminished. There are pinpricks of tears as I read a little about the real Hels. I am sure that you have given each other strength and encouragement and lots of cheering too.
Stepping back into the place of sadness takes huge courage so I am adding an Aussie Cheer for you both.
Now a request - stop showing all that gorgeous London stuff. I so want to visit England again....soon??

Hels, your post to-day brought tears to my eyes. Both of you have super strength and after coping with all that has gone on in your lives, you obviously work well to-gether. You certainly make a Great Team. Have a nice cool beer ready for Grim to-night. Hugs Rita xx

You are reducing me to a jibbering wreck recently!! (entirely unintentionally I'm sure). What with the pain you go through, Grim's obviously extraordinary amount of courage, and your devotion to each other, you pair are an inspirational couple. The biggest of hugs to you both. Buttons xx
