Blimey!!!

... in fact... corrrr blimey and thrice! From what I hear, the Spellbinders Pick of the Week has been a roaring success and... there's not much stock left! Which is good because it means that you all have some new goodies coming your way but... it means that if there's not enough left, I might not be there to demo next week - no stock = no demo's :O( Anyways... here's another couple of samples that I made: I think that this one is my favourite... the Cherry Blossom set is adorable, all those ickle flowers and really cool branches too ... and the brand new Dandelion Wishes stamp set is also my fave - and there's a lovely Studio 490 sentiment on there too (yep, another fave!)

This next one - well, I hardly ever use embossing folders, which is daft because I so love the effect! This one was embossed with Kraft Core-dinations, sanded and then jazzed up with a Kraft Glassine flower, simples but I like it... (well, it is brown, of course I like it lol)

And this one... using the Dear Old Dad set - how cute is that pocket? And as for the moustache... I LOVE it... I can also see that being snipped into two and turned and used as wings... can you see that or is it just me and my mad mind? Oh and don't worry, I didn't start threading needles and getting all unnecessary with cotton... nope, I used a white pen to add faux stitching around the pocket, which has little holes pricked into it from the die - but if you are inclinded to sew, there you go, half the work is done for you! Cool huh?

Right, I must away... I have beauty sleep to catch up on... you wouldn't believe that I finally stopped making samples at 3am on Friday! And then I was up again at 7.30am because Julia called to collect them all on her way to the studio. Mind you, I might not get much kip because I am excited... I always do get excited when I have workshops... and I have two this weekend at The Stamp Attic. Today we are playing with ink and stuff and making a little Printer's Tray and tomorrow we are getting painty with canvas! Oh and yes, tomorrow is a new Sunday Stamper theme too... I have been all organised and have the theme all set and ready to go too... makes a change for me lol Thanks for looking... have a brill Saturday! TTFN

Oh yes! I saw your pretty cherry blossom card on the bit of this afternoon's show I got to watch. It's really pretty but I absolutely love the second card because a) it's brown ........ I'm not a pink girl and b) that embossing folder is so elegant. Defo need that one. You're right about the 'tache too. I do hope you get to do at least one show for us next week but somehow I have my doubts.

Enjoy your workshops this weekend.

Hugs

So, got much planned for next week? Wow! Have those dies flown and I'm not surprised. Gotta agree - the blossom dies and the dandelion stamps are gorgeous. Oriental seems to be making such a comeback. Love your samples Hels. It's good we got to see the fruits of your labour for a while this weekend. So what do you have in store for us tomorrow morning?! I'll be there. Hugs, Buttons x
