...sounds like a robbery went on ... in actual fact, it was me, forcing my inner Ink-Goddess to sit up and pay attention! So, instead of carefully selecting Distress colours, I literally just reached over and grabbed three. No time allowed to decide if they worked together or not... oh no, I was being strict with her. You see, I think she and Mr Mojo are in cahoots. A cunning plan has been set to try and trip me up and make me sit and moan and whinge that I can't make anything! Pah! Take that you two!
Blimey, I sound like a nutter but I am sure it will strike a chord with you all.... well, I am hoping that you say "yes it does" Cos if you don't...erm.. there will be no hope for me at all lol Anyways... said three colours: Pine Needles, Crushed Olive and Scattered Straw Stains. The tag was paper covered... ohh, I love those Papermania "book page" papers. They are well lush and perfectly sized to slip nicely over a tag. This one is a Russian themed one, hence the writing, but I chopped off the Russian Doll and the Kremlin bit of the pattern and opted to keep the florally bit. I spritzed the tag with water, pounced Stains onto it, stood it up, let it drip, dried it and then gave three Tattered Florals big flowers the same treatment. They had some stamping done in Viridian Archival - love this colour with Pine Needles...using Tim's honeycomb/chicken wire stamp. I put together a blousy rose and added some small Tattered Leaves and a music score banner... and a couple of pins and a sentiment... oh and some dangly bits. Voila, tag done.. and it took me about 30 mins! I know! Just goes to show that if I take control of the situation, there's less time for old Ink-Goddess and Mean Old Mojo to gang up on me and make me think about things too much.
Anyways... I had better get myself to bed... all this inking has me fair worn out! I shall be back tomorrow with another offering, I plan to make sure that I do this "I am in control" thing again... and soon! Thanks for looking... have a fab day! TTFN

Fab colour combo xx
Wow fab colours and fab tag Hels.......who needs Mr Mojo when you can create art like that! x
Ooh nice!! Love that colour combo....very 'fresh' looking!
Know what you mean about Mr Mojo ..... Mine has made the occasional appearance over the past couple of weeks ...can't seem to get him to stay around for very long at all just now :(
Thanks for sharing
Jackie x
i know exactly where your Mr Mojo is - off plotting with other stampers MoJo's! but when mine does it's disappearing act i can never produce anything as good as that! wonderful colours too - will have to take my pine needles DI out of the pile of 'swaps'! hugs Karen x
These colors are gorgeous! I'll have to try this idea sometime, if the results look like this! =)
I LOVE THE SNATCH AND GRAB IDEA!!! Nothing better than to test your skills when you are feeling a little blah! This is gorgeous and the colors work fantastic with each other...so fun and bright looking! Kudos to you Hels!!!
Stay out of control a bit longer hun if it means you create wonderful tags like this! Those colours just work together SO well. You're really on a roll here. Can't wait to see what happens next. Hugs, Buttons x
perfect colour choices! Snatch and Grab sounds a good plan to me, must try that one. Love the finished tag, it looks incredible.
These random colours work so well together and I reckon you don't necessarily need Mr Mojo if you can come up with a fabulous tag like this when he is 'off'. I think there could be a few 'close your eyes and pick three' moments coming up!!
Hi Hels, yep know what you mean about losing our friend Mojo every now and then...why is he so fickle!!!
Love the tag and the colours are fabulous...random rules! Carole Z X
You should do that snatch ans grab more often 'cos this is brilliant. Hugs Joanne xx

Yes it does strike a chord! Methinks it was you who purchased the last Papermania book pages at DB's shop, I had to get mine elsewhere.........your tag is fabulous, loving the colors - so striking. Your snatch and grab definitely worked! Clever lady...

Gorgeous xxxx
Been there too Hels. Your tag is truly amazing. The colours are beautiful to-gether and get a real richness into the tag itself. Love it. Rita xxxx
Hi Hels...these colours are sooo beautiful together! I love the brightness, the feminineness (yep, that is a word! lol) and I love how the flower just brings the whole lot together. Awesome!!!
