WOYWW... Pink???

...indeedily! Tis Wednesday, which means that it is the day for the desk-hoppers of the World to unite in the phenomenonywotsit that is What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. To see all the deets on how to join in etc, please CLICK HERE and you will be whizzed off on the back of a giant piece of Grungepaper to Julia's blog... There's two pics to show today... the first one is a close up of my desk... midway through an Art Parts project and a Grungepaper rose... The second one is more of my Room of Stash when I am in full "Studio 490" making fun... stamps, Art Parts and Grunge all over the place... and if I stub my toe on that folder of stamps one more time I shall spit lol (thing is, I have done it several times and still I do it... )

So... Pink! Oh yesh, I have gone pink! Well, not me personally but... I have embraced my lurve of all things pink again! Now, a little known fact - ok, you all know it but - I used to be obsessed with pink; pink phone, pink camera, pink suede boots (still have 'em, still lurve 'em), pink in my hair... I even named my blog addy after the word pink. So, then I went off it. (thank heavens it was a few months before I got Ferdy otherwise he would have been pink too) But, I am in the mood for something soft and vintagey so... out came the Victorian Velvet and off I went, bonkers stylee on some Art Parts and Grungepaper.

That's what is going on on my desk right now... Art Parts, Studio 490 stamps and Grunge... oh and those fingernails I mentioned earlier? Scuzzy again... in fact, the project before this one was using Rusty Hinge... I look like I have been on the Capstan Full Strength... thank the lordy above for the Ranger Craft Scrubbie because... I have a date later... and I shall be feeling a prick! Oh yesh, it is time for my Acupuncture (whatever else did you think I meant, huh?) I have been waiting a yonk and a half for this appointment... then I have another three after this one over the next month... here's hoping it will get rid of this nasty pain. Right... I shall away to complete my grungy pink project and then to bed... Have a fab Wednesday... and as ever, thank you for looking... TTFN!

Hels x

PS... just a quick reminder... I am giving away some fabby candy for my Sunday Stamper's 200th week... CLICK HERE to see how to join in :O))

And I was getting excited for you! I go to acupuncture regularly too for any number of reasons. I've actually fallen asleep during my session.

Isn't it funny how colors come and go in our lives. Glad you are getting pinked up!

Come on Hels, you are not a proper crafter if you have clean fingers and nails - so you are most definitely a proper crafter after spending all that time scrubbing and then getting messy again. Good luck with the acupuncture.

Nice to see that you're feeling "in the pink" today! Sorry, couldn't resist. ;)

I'm a bit of a pink-lover myself.. I think I take after my pink-loving paternal grandmother (try saying that 3 times quickly!) who became positively Barbara Cartlandish in her later years!

Hope the accupuncture went well and that it does the trick. :)

Good luck with the acupuncture and the pain soon vanishes. Reminds me, I must book an appointment with my chiropractor, seriously overdue. As far as internet speed is concerned, we were told that our internet speed was going to be made faster, since when it has been slower than ever. There is a certain block of soap which is excellent at getting rid of ink - the one with the little oblong paper on one side. That was a tip from Barbara Gray. Have a good week. xx Maggie #2

Never would I have thought you would be a pink girl, especially with love of cars and trains. Loving your room of stash as always, I large the photo and have a good nose. Sorry I haven't commented for awile, I keep checking your blog out but on my phone or tablet thingy which is really hard to comment on, spending more time on sofa with back but those horrible injections are coming soon so hip hip hooray I think. Hope the accupunture is working, it does take time when you first start them and I become worse before feeling better, I'm like you though I get all fuzzy head and sleep. Had a go at the block stamping on the tag you did. And yep that stamp is definitely Tom Sellick (spelt wrong lol), my sister lurvves him so seen alot of his movies and series. I am taking the TH class (just) so I am hoping to start having a go at inky and your sunday stamper. Take care and happy woyww :-) Kezzy xx
