WOYWW.... Peeeeouwwwwngggg...

...is the sound of my fingers typing swiftly over the keyboard because I am speed blogging again. Anyways... tis Wednesday... hurrah! Time for the bloggers of the world to unite and meet enmasse at Julia's place to take part in the phenomenon that is What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. CLICK HERE to be whizzed off on an Art Part Umbrella to see what it is all about....

This week the Room of Stash is still tidy, neat, clean, fluff free, cobweb free, nay and thrice, even snippetty-bits-of-paper-on-the-carpet free... indeedily, the Reformation of the Sheridan is complete, I am a reformed character and never again will I allow my precious little room to become the pit that it was. *well, I say that now but... erm... anything could happen...like... you know... erm... AlfieCat misbehaving again*

On my desk today is a WIP... a snapshot of an Art Parts piece that is in the "just about to colour and assemble and faff with embellies" stage. You know I did those classes last year with the one and only Wendy Vecchi at The Queen's Ink in Maryland with Ellen (whom, I have the pleasure of tellling you is now on the Dyan Reaveley Design Team (pop over here to leave her some love... I am sooo proud of her)) Well... we made a gorrrrgeous piece of stand alone art with Wendy and I am now playing and using some of the inspirations that I got then... erm... now. *if that makes sense, which it probably doesn't because it is late and I am even confooosing myself... and I really must go now because, after all, I am speed blogging....*

Thanks for looking... have a very happy day! TTFN

Oh poor Alfie cat gets all the blame! Is he also responsible for the big tidy up too, or are you taking credit for that, lol!! Looking forward to seeing the art parts ala Wendy at some point.

Personally, I think a neat craft room is highly overrated. Yours is just fine. :-) (Just so long as Alfie cat doesn't go leaving inky footprint about the place. )

Happy woyww,

I'm with you on blaming Alfie... I swear Pandy and Tom-Tom create a mess in the basement after I go to bed at night!! I would never leave the place looking like that, would I??
Love the look of your project on the desk... I really need to get me some of those art parts!! Happy woyww from Annette #13

Well it never lasts for me, lol so I wish you all the best with keeping the carpet little white squares that get stuck every where, even on hubbys forehead when he wakes up free, lol
And there's nothing wrong with saving techniques and inspiration for when you have time to play with them! lol

I must get out some art parts, I haven't played with them in a while... can't wait to see what you make.
Very impressively tidy desk today!!

I guess the speed typing is cos the blisters don't allow you to get too close to the keyboard. Hope you're healing well.

Verily spick and span desk. No one is convinced, however, that Alfie cat is the one who makes a mess with the inks of distress. I guess inky binky knows the truth, BTW did I spot inky B on c+c the other day?xx

I am not able to keep my desk as tidy as yours to day, even thou I do have a very tidy brain. hmmmm

Your desk looks lovely and tidy to me. Congratulations to Ellen on being part of Dyan's DT - WOW. I think I saw an Art Part that looked like an old fashioned washing board on a glimpse of CHA, hope that comes to the UK, I love working with Studio 490 too.

Your scissors caught my eye. I need to invest in another great pair -- and soon! I bought a pair at the thrift store for 25 cents to use on very cruddy things! They actually work quite well.

I wish I could say the same about my work area - which is actually my dining room table! The vacuum is out and at the ready, but somehow I don't get that far....
