WOYWW... At The Speed Of...

... my flying inky fingers. Oh yesh indeedily, this post is going to be so fast if you blink you will miss it! Today is Wednesday, time for the amazing phenomenon that is... What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday which is a mahooosive blog hop around all the crafty desks/rooms/shed/floors of Bloglandia. To see how to join in or what the fuss is about... click HERE to be whisked off on the giant umbrella that I have laid on as transport (oh dear, yep, losing it... deffo... losing it....)to Julia's place.

Anyways... my desk... is a veritable hive of activity today. I sometimes get a little Mojo-Burst when I am least expecting it... and last night was time for one of these... so I grabbed my jotter and drew my design... and that is hanging off my "design hook" above my inks... Well, that all sounds rather grand... it isn't really a "design hook"... nope, it is a cup hook that I sometimes hang stuff off and it is just the right height for me to pop said Mojo-Bursts, which believe me, is the best thing for me to do because if I don't... I forget... tis an age thing I think. So, moving on from all that waffle (which probably had you nodding off) on my desk is... the makings of a tag... I have some Cracklepainted Grunge holly leaves and all my Xmas bells and tinsel... yes, a Christmas project is waiting to be done. (note, it is not a card... I will do cards... I will, really.... ) Anyways... the speed of flying fingers post has now dragged on a bit longer than anticipated... I really must dash... I have a date today... with... *ahem* SIX omnibus editions of Corrie,14 episodes of Doctors and the sofa. What with being away and then being a bit busy, I haven't had chance to sit and watch... so that is todays plan along with doing some hopping, you see, I can blog hop and TV watch at the same time (whatever did we do before laptops huh?) Oooh and... I have some new jewellry making bits and bobs which I am going to play with...

Somehow I think it is impossible for me to do a short post that isn't full of my ramblings... maybe that can be a New Year Resolution for next year... shorter blog posts... less waffling and going off at tangents... *see, there I go again... lol* Right... I am definitely going now...
really, I am........ Thanks for looking... TTFN!

Hels x

As always a lovely and creative space. No, your post won't win any speed records, and you do waffle, but the waffle is amusing so as long as you find the time to do it, we'll read it, I guess :)

Love the inspiration hook - I've nothing so sophisticated but I do occasionally use a clothes peg to clip things to my curtain :)

Happy WOYWW.

Hi there. Thanks for sharing your creative space with us this week. I hope the rest of the week goes well and creative too! Don't stop waffling, we enjoy it so if it stopped we'd think you were ill or sumfink serious like aliens had snatched you away and get all worried and not be able to craft which would be a deeesaaaastaaarr dahling (In my best Craig R H impression)

Perhaps you can write the same amount but just type twice as fast - will that count? I just don't do short posts, if waffling is in your DNA don't fight it... Thanks for the peek! Sarah at 13.

Your desk always makes me want to rummage in the corners - if you know what I mean. Hope you enjoyed your day of catch-up TV and haven't got a numb bum as a result.

I'm just like you... start off intending a short post then go back to the top and delete my phrase similar to "this is only going to be a quick post because...."
Anyhow ...your desk is busy, tidy enough and you made me laugh!
Thanks for your lovely words too,
Love JoZarty x

You! Short postings! No Waffling! Nah!! Wouldn't be you otherwise would it? And that's what makes me laugh!!
Fergus has not been to Scottish Dancing yet, but I will make him an evening tie and take him to the Christmas Dance next month!! He does like listening to pipe band music tho!! LOL!
P.S. The desk will not be clean and tidy for long - I have a plan which involves glitter!!

oh Rofl....

You do ramble in the bestest and most amusingest of ways m'dear!

But if that's a short post, I dread to see your long post (though it would make fab reading!).

Package with stamps arrived safely yesterday, by the way!

I agree with Crafty Womble, don't stop your ramblings. They are so entertaining and cheering to read.

So tell me what is under the left side of your desk. It's all neat, whatever it all is. And I don't think it's age. I think I'll incorporate your cup hook in my basement studio!

You asked what caulk is. Caulk is the stuff you put around your bathtub or kitchen sink to seal it. I use it to make art, though.

Lovely creations here as usual. Love that tag with the pink flower. And, yes, I would certainly send Christmas tags instead of cards. I think that's a great idea! I have just today stamped up some images which will head towards Christmas cards. And I have just bought the latest Craft Stamper (Oct) and went straight to see what you have in there. It's the wood stained box frame with butterfly and it's just fabulous! Thanks for your lovely comments re my canvas. I was so chuffed with the positive feedback that it will be finished very soon, I think. I don't have 24/7 internet so it's a bit hard for me to visit everyone, but I try! Hope you have a creative weekend!

Love your desk and I am right up there with you on the catch up TV front. I have just speed watched "Neighbours" - dare not say how many episodes but now have the complete series of "Spooks" to watch and endless others. Must carry on tidying my craft room rather than watching them - drat! - Neet #11
