Thank You... & An Update...

...Thank you... every single person who left me a lovely comment and emailed me and sent me loads of sympathy after my ordeal... I really do appreciate every single comment very muchly indeed. A quick update... the local anaesthetic wore off overnight on Monday and left me very sore... I spent most of Tuesday lounging about on the sofa, sleeping, watching telly, sleeping, making a necklace or two, sleeping... you get the picture!

Then the reaction to whatever it is they inject started on Tuesday night... firstly with me losing my appetite... a postively unheard of event that always worries me as it takes a lot to put me off my grub... but yep, I had a few hours during the night that were... testing... I won't get all graphic... you get that picture too I imagine! I spent most of yesterday flopping about on the sofa... I did go out to get a breath of fresh air and to stretch my legs but that fair wore me out so I went back to the sofa again and lounged about some more. And how BORING!!! I never really lounge about so all this lounging about this week has worn me out... how people can be couch potatoes is beyond me..

I was supposed to be doing my DT bit for The Artistic Stamper today... and completely forgot to get anything prepared and sitting at a desk is still too much so... I shall just point you in the direction of the superduper special offer on Distress Stains - 20% off HERE ... and hopefully I will be able to fit in my DT bit next week sometime. Anyways... thank you all again for the lovely comments, it really does mean a lot to read them all... TTFN!

Oh Hels, I'm so sorry I didn't get to see your previous post and send you a big (but very gentle) hug. Sending two now to make up for the omission. It sounds as though you have been one brave lady 'cos I'm not sure I could have persuaded myself to get on the table/bed. Well done you and I hope you feel the benefit very very soon. Take it easy ............ although I know what you mean about being a couch potato......... I can't do it either. I get all fidgety and my tum starts tying itself in knots till I get up and make something, lol!

(Gentle) Hugs

I think rest is an important part of your recovery. I can only imagine the things you will come up with while bored!

Hang in there love, can so understand that lounging about is not your thing. Have you got plenty of dvd's to watch? Are you a fan of Pride and Prejudice? If so have you watched Lost in Austen, which is really fun? If not I can lend you it,just let me kno, guaranteed to take your mind of things! Hope you feel your crafting self soon, thinking of you. xx

For all that you are going through to be 'painless' that will be an event worth gold. I hope it has already happened but if not, I hope it happens today.

Oooow am creaking just thinking about those injections hun. Hate having to sit and rest up myself, so know where you are coming from with that one. Loads of love and a gentle hug from me, along with a big sloppy wet kiss from Oscar dog, also resting up on the sofa lol xxx

Oh my, Hels honey, you take all the time off to rest you need. I know how frustrating it is for a busy person to be laid up, but you just make the best of it. Watch lots of TV that gives you joy. Maybe some Christmas specials?

Hugs, Sandy

Oh you poor, poor, poor, poor darling. I didn't get to see your posts - I wish I had.

You are so brave, and I most sincerely hope that you get some pain relief soon.

I know how hard it is to be a couch potato - but do take things easy and let Grim spoil you.
