Where Did You Get That...

...erm... top HAT!!! Indeedily, I have been busy in the world of Altered Art again... right, remember last week I pointed you in the direction of Minxy who had very cleverly made herself a Top Hat Hairband??? Well, I did hint that I had...ahem... tried to make one for myself... and ...erm... Mr Amazon had to come to the rescue following several anguished hours and several sheets of wasted Grungeboard later... well, the Top Hat I bought was awful... truly awful... like blingy and bright and generally not at all "me"... only one thing for it then!!!




So, I set to work, ripped it all apart and painted the lot with Claudine's rather splendid Charcoal Black paint... then got very industrious with a hot glue gun and a whole heap of Idea-ology... and this is the finished article... which I may as well tell you... I will be sporting this on Saturday and Sunday at Ally Pally... how long it will stay on my head is debatable as it is rather heavy and the band isn't that tight... I may have to tie an old leccy band to it and see if that will hold it in place lol



So... are you going to Ally Pally??? Do pop by to have a natter won't you... you know, if you find yourself with a few spare minutes in your shopping frenzy, I mean session rofl I will be demo-ing on the Artistic Stamper stand... which is Stand # 49 I am really looking forward to the weekend, it is going to be fun meeting up with you all again... seems like months since the last Ally Pally... oh, it is... durrr....



Right, stuff to do before the weekend... and I have two chocolate cakes to bake today... I know, the things I will do for my mates ... and for a pack of Avenue by Crate Paper papers lol Andrea has found a full pack in her stash and she has said I can have it... bless her... so I am making a mahoosive choccy cake covered in Cadbury's Buttons and Flakes and basically, the best choccy cake on the planet... mmmm....
