Simon Says... Metal...

... over on the Simon Says Stamp & Show challenge the theme this week is METAL... and seeing as I have a bit of a thing about metal, I thought I would enter... a couple of months ago I made an ATC which is a "mini" version of the metal hangings I have been doing for a while... using Ten Seconds Studios metals and lots of Studio 490 stamps, I made an ickle version of my original Rosey Heart Art which is the piece that enticed Ellen over to see my blog, which then prompted her to email me, which then prompted me to reply, and the rest, as they say, is history.

We are swapping ATCs at the moment and my January swaps went off into the post along with some goodies including Cadbury's Fruit & Nut chocolate... which, BTW, is my favourite ever... well, who'd have thought this... I posted the box on 19th January and it got there last week!!! SIX weeks later... oh and ... Ellen physically visited and went home again in that time too!! Needless to say, the next time I post something to the USA I am going to do it a couple of months before the swap is due LOL

Anyways, I still have no taste... actually, I mean that I can't taste anything, not that I have no taste, well, you know what I mean... so, I am getting a bit crabby because I need to taste coffee... isn't it mad the things that we take for granted meaning so much! Oh and... last night Grim cooked me a heaven dinner... and I couldn't taste a single thing.. I know it was heaven because it is his "signature" dish... it is called Nasi Goreng and it is rice and spices and mushrooms and chicken (the proper one is using pork but I am not keen on pork - not that it would have mattered seeing as I can't taste a thing...grrrr) and it is... divine. I am off to have a little strop now and give my tastebuds a good talking to... I need cwoffee!!! LOL Ta for looking... TTFN

As always Hels totally fabulous work--I know how hard you work at all your projects and the research into the techniques behind them-this is why you have soooo many friends drooling over your work. I am lucky to have many of your art pieces from swaps and prezzies over the years and they are each one offs and i treasure them. As for the rules to live by yesterday--what a shame everyone can't live like that but at least your friends do !! Hugs Hels and keep up the great work for us all to watch x x

I am a massive fan of your wall hangings - as you know. Infact it was one in Craft Stamper that made me drool ever since! However, this ATC is just magic and I now wish I had bought a knurling tool at the Artyscraft shop. Hope you get your taste buds back soon.
