A Combo of Curiosities...

...am back... I know, two posts in one day!! I have had a lovely morning indeedily... playing with inks and stamps and stuff... the Compendium of Curiosities challenge has finished now and I have had this idea in my noddle to make tags combining my fave tags from the challenge... and here is numero uno. BTW, if you haven't already seen, pop on over to Linda's blog.. there is news!!! And it is goodly news at that!!!

So, this post is picture heavy and word light (whoohooo, I am not going to waffle on like normal) That there is the tag I have made.. and these here are the tags that inspired me: Distress Embossing Powders; MultiMedium; Chipped Enamel & Distress Cracklepaint.

The Idea-ology flowers and bird were turned into Chipped Enamel...

The photo had Rock Candy Cracklepaint popped over it and then Walnut Stain Distress Ink rubbed into the crackles... There's some Old Paper Cracklepaint on the base of the tag...

The Multi Medium was popped onto an Idea-ology Numeral and onto the paper wrapped around the Idea-ology Vial (check out the word on the dictionary paper... the bottle has re-inker in it so it is like a bottle of beer!)

The Distress Embossing Powder is down in the right hand corner of the tag... can't see it much on the pics but it is there ...

So... there you go... this tag took me nearly two hours to make!!! I know, bonkers amount of time just for a tag but I did have fun... and yep, I have the next four tags ready to inspire me some more... I will deffo be making another combo tag!

Thanks for looking.... TTFN

This is gorgeous Hels, You should challenge yourself to see how many techniques you can fit on one tag. The little cogs are turning in my head as I type. We could do it like a competition, "I'll bet I can do ten techniques", "I'll bet I can do eleven" etc. What do you think, or is that just getting ridiculous?

This is gorgeous. I'm looking at it on my iPad & pulled it up for a closer look filling the whole screen. It is wonderful. I have a lot of stuff but none so shabby as this. I just love admiring your work. Such wonderful detail.
