Being Krafty...

...hurrah and thrice for the cleverest teckernical guy in the World... yep, Grim has saved the day! Actually, he has saved Lionel Laptop from being chucked out of a first floor window by a very moody and extremely grumpy Hels lol I have no idea what the problem was... all I do know is that Grim has taken everything off (the laptop, not himself lol) and restored it all to its brand spanking new glory... so all I have to do now is remember all those passwords that are usually saved and that I never thought that I would need because Lionel is clever and remembers them for me and now I am asking for email reminders all the time ROFL

So... you will be surely impressed when I tell you that I just installed Paint Shop Pro X2 back onto Lionel... and I didn't need to ask Grim for help once... I know, a five year old could probably do it but we are talking about Mrs StoopidWithAnythingTeckernicals here... so... because I have installed it I have managed to resize a few pics and here is a tag I made yesterday while Lionel was having his surgery...

It is made using some fab Crowded Attic Papers which have been painted and spritzed with Colorwash Sprays and then stamped... and then I used that lovely new Kraft Glassine paper to make a spikey flower from the Tattered Florals Alterations die... and a little rose for the middle of it... which I have bodged the photography on so the focus is on the butterflies... but they are sweet so I didn't bother taking another one... they are stamped with Archival and then spritzed with Heirloom Gold and Red Perfect Pearls Mists... the little banner thingy at the bottom of the tag is just some of the Kraft paper concertina folded and then glued on... all the goodies are at The Artistic Stamper.

So... now I have a biiiiiig task ahead of me... I have to... sort out my Outlook Address book... which Grim did back up... only... erm... I had never actually put anything in it... Well, I thought that I had because if I was sending an email to someone I would just type the first letter of their name and it would come up with the right address... so... now I have to go through all my sent emails and get everyone email addresses and then put them all into the Address Book....which I should have done in the first place... Ok, ok, I am quite able to cope with bits of paper and stuff... but put me near to a computer and I turn into an idiot... truth is... I am a divvy and I am a bit... technically challenged... I do just want to say... THANK YOU to Grim for being utterly patient and understanding when I was stamping my foot and sulking yesterday... you are a STAR!!! Right, wish me luck, I may be some time... Thanks for looking... TTFN!

The tag is beautiful. Good luck with 'puter as I like to call mine.

You have my total sympathy over anything to do with computers Hels. Most of what I do on here is more by luck than judgement and if it goes wrong I haven't a clue how to put it right.

Luurve that tag! The butterflies are lovely but the flower is to 'die'for! The Kraft stuff is glorious.

My May CS dropped through the letterbox a couple of hours ago so of course, I had to rip off the plastic and have a quick flick through (even though I'm supposed to be ironing). Love your article. There's lots of useful info in there and your projects are great. Well done.

Glad your PC has recovered from surgery and is regaining it's strength! Love that Kraft flower tag. I just got my first pad of the "glassiney" stuff but haven't used it yet. If you saw Tim's demos on HSN last week, there was one mini-book or hanging that had several kraft glassine flowers which he had crinkled and spritzed with perfect pearls and they were to die for! He has a pic on his blog of it too, but doesn't due it justice. I wish I had saved the show to see it again!

I am the same with my computers! My hubby Jay has to save me and fix mine too. I am getting better at it, but still not savvy at all. Glad you're up and running again. I couldn't go on without your art and waffling. I so enjoy your posts!

Don't talk to me about computers! I use them all day long - and most of the night too, with blogging, lol! but anything complicated - no way! You will be impressed though to learn that I fixed the blogger issues I had 9well, Blogger Help did most of it) but I had to delete a load of computer code to get the pictures to show again- ok, I can tell I've lost you!!!
This tag is stunning!!

I am convinced you and I are related!!! Some of the antics you get up to are way tooooo familiar. My Lionel went for a skate across the living room floor two weeks ago and had to be stripped naked! OO La La! My HoneyBunny got it schorted for me! Bless Him!!
Fab tag by the way - too busy laughing to say!!
