...yes, indeedily... I have... kept the Room of Stash really tidy for yet another week!!! Cor blimey, it is easier than I thought it would be too! I have been tidying away after each session, emptying the bin, vacuuming the floor, dusting the shelves... I am so sorry to use bad language so early in the morning... all this talk of chores! Anyways... the is a very simple reason that I am waffling on about my desk today... yes, it is Wednesday which can only mean one thing... Bloggers of the Globe unite in one common interest... snooping each others desks LOL Headed up by the inimitable Julia Dunnit, whom, I can assure you is hilarious so it is well worth a trip on over to her blog... HERE... and then you can see the deets and join in too! Believe me when I say... this desk hopping is seriously addictive too!
There isn't a lot of action on either desk this morning... on Desk 2 there are some cards and DT projects that are waiting photographing... and on Desk 1 there is... a pair of scissors! I know! I am ... positively... angelic!!! Above Desk 1 is a shelf, which is usually the place that I bung bits and bats that are useful but likely never to get used, anyway, on the shelf are a couple of Yankee candles... so not only is my Room sparkling, it also smells lush too!
I have also been making another box for my Configurations box that I am altering for my Stamp Attic DT... here is a sneaky peep at it... the rest of the deets and more pics are on The Stamp Attic blog... the idea is that I alter a box a week - and each box is going to have a theme... I have them already written down, in my 13-6 book... blimey, I am almost passing out at the thought of me being so organised!!!
Anyways... today is D Day!!! I am over the top excited at the thought of actually being able to park Ferdy on a nice, neat, clean, mudless and squelchless driveway... we have got a clever man bringing a digger with him today to... well, dig out... the drive area... then he will take all the nasty muddy stuff away and tomorrow he will put a whole heap of heavy duty something-or-other before slapping a load of concrete down on Friday... that is the exciting bit... if you didn't see yesterdays post, basically it is distressing for the drive... it will look amazing!!!
A few peeps have asked for a "before" shot of the drive... this pic was taken last Summer just after we had all the big old trees removed... oh and of course, Ferdy is there, showing off his splendid roof! Right, time to go on a hop about! Have a FAB day... thanks for looking... TTFN

I take it that Ferdy is a unique beast and not many of his breed sport that lovely top. But I'm sure he'll enjoy his new space soon.
Sorry I missed you last week. My time was simply not my own. At least I'm trying to make it up this week. Happy WOYWW from #10.

Your room is always so neat and tidy it is going to give the rest of us a complex! Looks like there is all sorts of fun stuff to play with there though!. Thanks for sharing with us.Vickie #59
The room of stash is a great place to admire and play with all those stamps ;)
Bet Ferdy is going to look even more handsome on his new drive!
xoxo Sioux
I cannot cope with all this tidiness please stop it immediately, I dream of having off road parking.....
All those shelves of stamps it just makes me want to do a trolly dash around your craft room!
** Kate **
It needs messing up, I shall be on my way with biscuits for a play with you in your craft room!

I always love looking at your work room - it's such an enticing and uplifting space to work in, full of nice things to look at.... Thanks for swinging by - I think I got that little white drawer unit at Hobbycraft, but the blue ones I bought in France and I'm kicking myself for not buying more at the time!!!
Fab tidy desk!!
Cathy xx
ohoo I want a new drive! My neighbour had theirs done last year and it looks lovely...still...your desk looks as fabulous as ever!!((Lyn)) Happy WOYWW #68
Two lovely tidy desks - Wow! You have such a lot of great stamps too and shown off so well. You will thouroughly enjoy your nice new drive when it is done and you can use it again. No more mud and bits of dirty stuff brought into the house - less cleaning and more time for crafting.
Good grief Hels, you really have turned over the proverbial leaf! Smelling lovely and looking pristeen? Yet you are still making lovely things too! Ferdie will be so happy to have a lovely clean place to reside as well!
Hmmmm, very neat and tidy, AGAIN! Good for you for keeping up your New Year's resolution! Luckily it is almost the end of January so you can probably let it go by next week, lol!
And Ferdy is absolutely beeeyoootiful! I am not much into cars, but I love Ferdy! So cute!
xoxo Karen
Again with the neatness - I feel so messy when I see your desk. and that project - such an intriguing glimpse... it'll be lovely when it's done :)
Mary Anne
Love your stash room, fab to see all your cool stuff
OMG! All those fab stamps there...and your lovely creations!!!
Well done on the tidy desk, but you do know that it's not.... natural, don't you? Love your configurations box so far. Can't wait for the next installment. The drive project sounds really interesting! Judith xx
Wow Hels, so impressed two weeks in a row with your tidy desk. Love your little Ferdy with his checkered flag roof, if that's spelt correctly! Is he a Fiat 500? I see one or two on the roads over here, but compared to all the huge trucks and things they look like a little rabbit hutch on wheels! We're once again Legal Aliens for another 10 years, we'll always be Aliens unless we become US citizens at some point!
Hugs

Wow i'm in awe of your worspace, could spend hours looking at all your stash. Glad I'm not the only one who gives names to random things, like cars and cuttlebugs lol.
Can't believe how tidy you are - I always love visiting your workspace.
I have awarded you the 'Love Blog' award on my blog, for all the inspiration you share on your blog, thanks for sharing as much as you do.
Sigh.......I need your help!!!

OK, I am going to stop this WOYWW if you guys are not actually going to have abything ON your desks! I am starting to develop a complex! (Not on your life!)
That roof is uber sexy and deserves a great drive, not a muddy mess.
Tertia 137
Love the tidy space - just a pair of scissors on the desk, WOW. A box a week, great idea. Can't wait to have a look-see.
Vicki 108
I have recently developed the rather annoying habit of having to have my work area cleaned up between projects. I have NO idea where this stems from. Heaven knows I make a disaster zone when I create...
And now, I need to go clean up my own area...sigh
Good Girl..call it a day and go for a ride in that Sporty little car!!! Cute as a bug.
What a fabulous space. I am dying to know how you keep the wood stamps on the shelf from tumbling down when you extract one for use? If I stacked my wood stamps that way, they'd fall down if I so much as entered the room, let alone try and reach for one. LOL
Really do love your space. TFS
CaroleB #135
Oh, I am green with envy - a tidy desk and a new drive are both on my wish list, although I'm not too keen on the concrete idea would prefer what I term 'hole-y grass'. Sort of like concrete egg boxes with grass growing through them.
x Tricia (120)
I would love to sit at one of the desks and just start playing with all the lovely stuff that sits on your shelves.
Thanks for stopping by!
How tidy and organised and what's all this talk of dusting and vacumming, I've not come across those words before!!!!!!
Your car is very posh with it's fancy roof, sounds like it's going to have a posh drive to be parked on soon too.
hugs Lisa (126)
Love your tidy craft room with two desks - not that I have desk envy lol = Hope Ferdy is happy once the drive is also neat and tidy - oh I got the pink glue gun from this site hope that helps ~ Nicky 17
Well we all can guess the theme of this particular box, Lol! It's looking great Hels and so is your little Ferdie. That's one cute car!
The desks don't look bad either, Ha! Ha!
Hugs
